-Auggie's point of view-
I woke up late this morning. Usually, I'm awake before anybody else in the house, but not today. As I rubbed the lumps of sleep out of my eyes, I noticed a white envelope placed on my desk. Curious, I climbed out of bed and walked over to my desk to find out what was inside. I ripped open the envelope and pulled out the folded up piece of paper. It was a letter. From Riley! When I saw Riley's name, my face lit up. Maybe she had some good news, or wanted to organise a day for us to go out together.
Excitedly, I unfolded the paper and read it. It said,
'Dear Auggie,
You are the best little brother a girl could possibly ask for. I love you more than you will ever know. But there's something I must tell you. I'm leaving. I'm going to live in the countryside. But you have to keep this a secret! Nobody else can know. I love you.
Love riley'

What? Riley's running away?

Shocked, I sat myself down on my bed. It was to difficult for me to hold back my tears. I let them flow right out of me and I felt as though I was never going to stop crying.

-Riley's point of view-
Lucas and I had packed everything to take with us. There was nothing more to do, we were ready to leave. I waited outside of my house for Lucas. Uncle Shawn was at work so there was no way that he would catch us. From afar, I could see a figure that was coming towards me. Behind that figure was another figure. They were getting closer and closer to me. As they came closer, I saw that they were carrying bags with them.
Finally, they approached me. It was Farkle and Maya.

"Guys, what are you doing here?" I asked, in confusion.
The two of them flung their bags down as though it was a relief to get the bags off them.
"Did you really think we'd let you leave us?" Maya questioned as if it was obvious.
"So you're coming?" I tried very hard to make sense of this.
"Duh!" Farkle grinned.

Before I could say anything else, Lucas arrived.
"Hi," he greeted us.
"Lucas, they said they are coming with us!" I explained.
"That's because they are coming," he said.
"Wait, you knew about this?" I asked.
"Surprise!" He sang.
"You really can't sing!" I laughed.
"I can sing better than you," he acted in a childish way.
"Whatever!" I laughed.
"I can!" Lucas protested.
"Okay, okay. This isn't a karaoke bar. Let's go!" Maya interrupted us.
"Okay," I agreed.

The four of us started to pick up the bags before leaving until we heard a small and familiar voice.
"Riley!" The voice cried.
I turned around to find Auggie standing behind me, in tears.

I dropped my bags.

"Auggie!" I said.
"I read your letter," he told me.
"I'm sorry," I felt the need to apologise.
"Why are you leaving me?" Asked Auggie.
The way he asked this question made me feel really guilty. Perhaps that's what he wanted.

"Don't say it like that!" I shook my head.
"You might not be leaving because of me, but you're still leaving me!" He reminded me.
"I have to go!" I informed him.
"I love you. Doesn't that mean anything to you." He cried even more.
"Auggie, of course it does." I tried to give him a sad smile.
"Then stay!" He pleaded.
"No, Auggie!" I shouted.
He was a little shocked and taken back by the way I shouted at him.
"I'm sorry. Goodbye!" I lowered my voice.
"Bye!" He huffed.
"I love you!" I told him.
"No, you don't!" He yelled before running off.
