Third person.

Under the sun lies Jieum and Sohee on the sun loungers. Lunch was over an hour ago, so the two girls decided to go relax by the pool after quite a big meal. Jieum has her sunglasses on, reading a fashion magazine that has herself on the front page. She hasn't gone into the water unlike Sohee who's hair is wet and dripping,

"Have you and Jongseong made up? After your whole necklace problem that you spent two hours blustering to me about." Sohee utters in a playful tone.

"I guess... you could say that." Jieum briefly answers, turning to the next page of her magazine.

"He bought me a necklace as a peacemaker." She inserts airily.

"Wait, he did?" Sohee grasps Jieum's arm, to the latter's irritation as she pulls her arm away instantly.

"Your hands are wet! And I mean, it wasn't a Cartier. He said it also brings luck just like my other one, but I know he just bought it 'cause he was getting fed up with me ignoring him." Jieum responds, crossing her arms to her chest. She flinches at the painful contact of Sohee's hand slapping her left shoulder.

"Would you stop touching me!" Jieum yells, rubbing the sore impact on her skin.

"I think it was sweet of him to get you a necklace, though! Isn't it?" Sohee expresses her awe at Jongseong's lovely gesture.

"Hah, I beg to differ." Jieum retorts, leisurely shaking her head.

"You're so mean, you brat. It's surprising that he still hasn't quit his job. Poor him. Sohee says, feeling sympathetic for the boy. She reaches for her sunglasses and wears them to face the sky, with a satisfied hum.

"I'm not mean or a brat! Not always— at least. I don't know why he's still putting up with me rather than resigning. He doesn't look desperate for money, though it's like my dad has him at gunpoint. Park never makes sense to me, really. Nevertheless, we've settled on an agreement that we don't have to be friends. I think we're good at that." Jieum asserts fully. She's right, in all cases, as the only reason why Jongseong's in her life is because he's her bodyguard, and it's not likely for a model and her bodyguard to bond together. Well, she's never heard of one.

"So... you guys just never talk about your history?" Sohee carefully puts it on the table. It's been a while since Jieum talked about that.

"No. I don't think there's a need to do so." Jieum answers.

"Right, heh, that's funny." Sohee stifles her laugh. Jieum answers her with a sharp glare, and rolling her eyes afterwards.

Minutes later, the glass door glides open and Jaeyun comes out, holding a small speaker that plays a vibrant song. Placing it on the table, the puppy saunters over to his girlfriend, to whom Sohee immediately grins. However, her smile drops when he begins to pull her up.

"Jaeyun! I just got out of the pool." Sohee whines.

"Then you should have waited for me before you dipped. Jieum, join us." Jaeyun says, inviting the other girl whose eyes are still fixed on new fashion discoveries.

"I don't want to get in the same water that you guys are going to take over with your display of attention." Jieum objects, feigning a disgusted look.
