Becky enjoyed her time with Love and Brownie. They played together, and Becky didn’t notice that it was already 10 PM. Nam insisted that Becky stay for dinner before leaving. Becky tried to decline, but just then, Freen walked into the house.

Freen was shocked to see Becky and Nam together.

“Dada!” Love ran into Freen’s arms.

Freen looked at Becky. “Thanks, Sarocha, for agreeing to let Love spend time with me,” Becky said.

“It’s fine. You’re still here?” Freen asked.

“I really lost track of time with this cutie pie,” Becky replied with a smile, glancing at Love.

Nam then urged Becky to join them for dinner. Becky politely refused, but Nam turned to Freen.

“Freen, ask her to stay,” Nam said.

“Yes, Becky, please join us. It’ll make up for what we missed yesterday, and Love will be happy,” Freen said, glancing at Love.

Love immediately started pleading with Becky, and finally, Becky nodded.

During dinner, Love sat between Freen and Becky, while Nam sat opposite Becky. Becky fed Love her favorite food, and Love happily ate.

“Did you enjoy your day, my princess?” Freen asked.

“Yes, Dada! Becky bought me bubble tea,” Love replied cheerfully.

Freen smiled at her daughter’s excitement.

Throughout dinner, Freen, Becky, and Nam shared jokes and laughed together. Nam noticed how happy Freen looked, laughing like she hadn’t in a long time. It brought back memories of their old times together. Quietly, Nam took out her phone and recorded the cheerful conversation between Freen, Becky, and Love without them noticing.

After dinner, Love asked Becky to stay the night. After some persuasion, Becky finally agreed.

Later, Love helped Nam clean the kitchen while Freen stood on the balcony, gazing at the sky. Becky joined her.

“Missing someone?” Becky asked gently.

Freen turned to her. “Not really,” she replied.

“My dad used to say that if we’re missing someone, we should talk to the moon. The moon will send our messages to them,” Becky said.

“My wife used to say the same,” Freen said with a bitter laugh. “Sometimes, when she was angry at me or wanted something, she’d look at the moon and shout her thoughts so I could hear them.”

“So, you’re missing Love’s mom?” Becky asked.

Freen looked at Becky but remained silent.

“Did you really cheat on your wife?” Becky suddenly asked. Freen’s expression immediately darkened.

Freen tried to walk away, but Becky gently grabbed her hand.

“Sometimes, it’s easier to share your secrets with a stranger. Strangers won’t judge or justify you,” Becky said softly.

Freen’s eyes filled with tears as she met Becky’s gaze.

“Tell me, Freen. Did you cheat?” Becky asked again.

Freen was silent for a moment. Then, in her mind, she imagined herself saying, *No way, Becky! It was a mistake. I’ve always loved you.* But she couldn’t voice it.

Snapping back to reality, Freen simply said, “You should get some rest.” She left the balcony, leaving Becky standing alone.
