(A/N: Hi Hello I'm aliveeeee and here with another one-shot with Hopesong/Skylar (who belongs to Sora_Storytime (their stories are the reason this hyperfixation came back a bit lmao)) and Crabby/Thea. This is more of just a random thought that came to me since I was bored and wanted to write. But this takes place before any of the Bigger Body Experiments were made :])

Skylar hummed to herself as she pressed a blue marker on to the blank piece of paper sitting in front of her. She had always liked art. It was a fun way to express herself, and Alexander loved to see her drawings and took them home with him (he said he put them up on his fridge which always made Skylar happy).

She was done scribbling the blue ink onto the page, so she went to grab another marker but missed and knocked it off of the table instead.

She let out a small gasp, as she watched it roll off the table and over to the feet of another girl standing in the doorway.

The other girl looked older than her by quite a few years, probably one of the teens if Skylar had to guess. She had wavy black hair that reached past her shoulders, and slightly obscured her eyes, which were about the same color of her hair. Her skin was a medium tone, and she was wearing a simple lilac shirt paired with long grey shorts and black shoes. But the oddest thing about her was that she was missing the bottom half of her right arm.

Skylar wasn't sure why, did she lose it? None of the other kids were missing limbs (or parts of them anyways).

The older girl watched as the marker bumped into her shoe before bending down to pick it up and looking to Skylar. "This yours?" she asked, holding the marker up. Skylar blinked, getting dragged out from her thoughts, and nodded sheepishly, which led to the older walking over and placing the marker next to her. Her eyes lit up as she saw the drawing in front of the younger.

"That's really good!" She exclaimed looking at Skylar with a grin.

"Oh–thank you!" The younger returned the smile fidgiting with her hands in her lap.

"Do you come to the arts and crafts center a lot?" she asked, moving to grab her own paper and supplies.

"Yeah, I like drawing a lot." The younger answered, moving to grab the marker that was placed next to her.

"Cool! I like drawing too," The black-haired girl replied, coming back to the table and sitting on the opposite side of Skylar.

The conversation didn't go much from there, since Skylar was more interested in watching the older girl. Most of the teens didn't interact with the younger kids. Mainly since they were separated anyways. The black-haired girl, didn't seem to be drawing anything in particular, just various shapes and patterns.

After a few moments of silence Skylar blurted out, "I'm Skylar." The other girl paused and looked up to the younger, before a small smile made it's way onto her face, "Thea," she replied, her eyes crinkling from her smile now. Skylar couldn't help but return it.

Over the course of the next few days, Skylar learned that most (if not all) of Thea's time was spent in the arts and crafts center. So, being the curious kid she was, she decided to show up at the center multiple times. But it was totally just because she wanted to draw, obviously.

And eventually she learned that Thea and Theodore hung out a lot as well. So she started going over to join them on occasions.

They all grew close over the time they spent together. Skylar had thought she had found another piece of a family that she had never gotten to experience with the two.

That was until Theo dissapeared.

The adults in the playcare had said that he'd been adopted, but there was an indescribable feeling that Skylar got when they were told that.

And so, she and Thea were left. But that didn't last long as Thea 'left' soon after. Skylar got the same answer about where she had gone as she did with Theo. Leaving her alone.

She was alone for a while, until something happened. She wasn't sure what though. Maybe she could figure it out now.

And yet Hopesong still had no idea.

(A/N: Hope this was alright, it's been a while since I've written. I don't think I'll come up with anything new for a while since this hyperfixation has all but fizzled out TvT. But I do have two other (older) one-shots that I wrote a while ago (most also with Hopesong lmao) that I could post if y'all want me to. But yeah! Have a good day/afternoon/night!)
