My eyes shot open and I screamed at the top of my lungs before realizing that no, I was not

kidnapped by some evil person, but was actually lying in a soft, warm, king sized bed. I quickly got up

and the sight that that awaited my eyes made my jaw drop. The room I was in had blue wallpaper, a

large, flat screen TV, a minibar, a large bathroom with a blue tub with golden lining, dark blue shower

curtains, and a Jacuzzi. There were metal hippocampi hanging from the ceiling on silver wires, and the windowsills had beautiful plants from the bottom of the sea. Imagine my surprise when I saw that the door had my name on it. IT WAS ALL MINE!!!

Quickly, I walked out of the room and explored. The living room had another TV, a  couch that

looked soft enough to live in, and more plants from the sea. The kitchen was stocked with all the snacksand drinks that I liked, along with an amazing machine. Just put in a slip of paper that has what you want to eat and voila! I grabbed a Dr. Pepper from the fridge and sipped it as I collapsed onto the living room couch. All thoughts of Annabeth out of my head, I turned on the TV and soon fell asleep watching SpongeBob (Don't judge me. It is literally the best show ever).

Meanwhile on Olympus...

"HOW COULD YOU!?" a voice rang out, disturbing the peace and tranquility of Olympus. All

heads turned to the god's throne room as a sobbing girl ran out, with Athena chasing after her.

"I'm sorry, dear, but he made that choice himself. If he really loved you he would have stayed!"

Athena called out after whom they assumed to be Annabeth, her daughter.

"He was tricked! Zeus told him we were all getting gifted! They only reason he agreed was

because he thought we would be together forever! Now I'll only get to see him when I come to

Olympus!" Annabeth shot back.

"Um, about that," Athena started but cut off when Annabeth stopped running and turned to

her mother with an harsh expression.

"What?" she said coldly. "What about it, mother?" the daughter of Athena spat out the last

word.

Athena winced and replied, "Zeus is kinda closing off Olympus to anyone but the ones that live

here. It might have been my idea."

       "You did WHAT?"

"I only said it as a joke," the goddess said quickly. "But he thought it was a good idea, and, yeah.

You are the last outsider to ever see Olympus again."

Annabeth looked at her mother with a tear stained face. "Is that all I am to you? An outsider?"

And without giving Athena a chance to respond, she ran into the elevator. The last image Athena saw of

her daughter was Annabeth's sad expression before the doors closed for the last time. Ever. It

symbolized the begining of a new life, but also the ending of an old one.
