I have to vent/warn people about this creepy experience that I had last night when I went grocery shopping with my family, after the Super Bowl. Especially with this creepy experience kind of dampening the overall good weekend that I was having with my family.
So, after a fun day with my family and after the Super Bowl ended, I decided that I wanted to get out of the house and join my brother and mom to run some errands, instead of staying at home, like I normally would. We were at the meat section at the grocery store and I noticed that this older man was staring at me and began smiling when he noticed that I caught him staring at me, which weirded me out. He stayed there longer than he needed to after he got what he needed from the meat section and continued to stare at me with a smile on his face, until my family and I moved away from the meat section and finished getting the final stuff that we needed from the grocery store. Since the grocery store didn't have that many people shopping due to the Super Bowl, there was only one cash register open.
And to my unfortunate surprise, we were right behind that man. The only good thing about this situation is that he didn't have much stuff to pay for and he just finished paying, so he was able to put what he got into his cart rather quickly and left store. In my mind, I thought he had parked somewhere that was not close to the car and that he had left. So, in the middle of us putting the groceries in the trunk, I see a truck passing by us and the truck slowed down a bit when passing us. For some reason, I looked at the driver and it was the same guy that I saw inside the grocery store and he was smiling at me from his truck.
My question is this: What would you have done in this situation?
And let this be a PSA to you all to be mindful of your surroundings.
