As I stand by the entrance to the astronomy tower, I realize something. Astronomy is not popular. There are about ten of us waiting outside. I had thought that with as many students, there would be more people who would've signed up. Regulus still isn't here, which worries me.
"Aw, look at our girl. Isn't she just beautiful?"
I sigh at the familiar voice, trying to ignore the four men in front of me. "What the hell are you guys doing here?"
James grins, "What? Do you think you own astronomy? We signed up, too!"
"She doesn't look happy," Peter says, smirking.
Remus raises an eyebrow, "I don't think we're the ones she wanted to see."
"Nonsense! James yells, wrapping his arm around me. "Who else would she want to see?"
"Do you require bodyguards for every class now?" Regulus asks, coming to a stop in front of us.
Peter looks between us, his eyes widening. "Oh, I see what you mean, Remus."
"Well, of course. We know how you Slytherins are," Sirius says, stepping in front of me.
"Stop being dramatic," I say, walking away from them.
Professor Aura opens the door, "Welcome, students."
She steps to the side, allowing us to enter. I look around in awe. The gold embellishments shine under the moonlight. The top is open, giving us a direct view of the starry night sky. Regulus stands next to me, looking around boredly.
"I've seen better," he says.
"Of course you have," I roll my eyes, "Rich people always have better."
He quirks an eyebrow up, "Have you always been this sarcastic?"
"Since the day I was born."
The professor moves to the front, "Alright, students. Break off into pairs of two, and then we will start our class."
I watch as everyone disperse, quickly finding partners. The Marauders are whispering to each other, watching me and Regulus. They start playing rock, paper, scissors.
"Do you want to be partners?"
I look back at Regulus in surprise, "Are you talking to me?"
"You're the only one standing next to me. Who else would I be speaking to?"
James starts walking over to us, but I turn to Regulus. "Sure, we're partners in our other classes anyway."
James stops in his tracks, tilting his head in confusion when he sees us walking towards Professor Aura. Sirius looks betrayed. Remus and Peter are just smirking.
"Tonight's lesson will be about getting familiar with the telescope. Now, each duo find a telescope and get ready."

We're halfway through the class now. Regulus and I seem to have figured the telescope out rather quickly. It's James and Sirius who are struggling the most. Although, it might just be due to their glaring contest with Regulus.
"I don't understand how you can hang out with them," Regulus says, fiddling with the telescope.
I look back at him, "They're really not as bad as you think. You just have to be on their good side."
"Well, that's quite literally impossible," he mutters.
My eyes glance over to Sirius, who watches his younger brother earnestly. He catches my stare and shakes his head, looking back at James.
