Luciana Maria José

Days had passed & everything felt the same except for not being pampered by Xavier. But I liked my own money.

"Hey I'm Luci, thanks for choosing Aunt Lynette' cafe, what can I start you out with to drink? " I asked nicely.

"I'll get a tea with a lemon " the older man said.

"With ice? " I asked. He nodded.

"And for you Miss? "

"I'll get the Strawberry Margarita" the lady informed.

I wrote that down, and nodded.

"I'll be back shortly "

They smiled while nodding and I left.

Checking my other 3 tables.

Table one:

Get pepper and steak sauce .

No onions on the Burger for the kids meal

Low on Mayo & Tomatoes

Table Two

Appetizers: boneless barbecue wings
W| celery & ranch, with rolls

Table Three

Drinks: sweet iced tea with lemon
& a strawberry margarita

I got everyone their things and what they needed.

"Shit man " I sighed.

$60 in tips, and only bringing around $300 home ever two weeks ? I can only be grateful though.

All I have to do is save my money up.

"Bye y'all see y'all next week"

I hopped in August's car.

"Hey August"

He looked at me then nodded and drove.

What was that all about?

What did I do to him?

I shook it off & rested back.

Once we got home, I quickly hopped out the car and headed towards the guest room. After our last encounter, he seemed to be avoiding me and as much as I hate to admit this,it kind of stung my feelings because I opened up to him. But I should've expected this. He is actually a complete stranger.

I sighed as I opened up the journal I brought last weekend.

April 23rd , 2015

" Through these trials & tribulations
I know you have something in store
Even though these past few weeks
I feel like I can't take anymore.
I really want to give up
But I can't do that
I've came to far to
rewind or bounce back
So,through this all
I want to continue and have faith
'Cuz tomorrow might be my last day "

I sighed as I tucked the pen, and violet journal away. I replaced my clothes into regular sweats and a loose fitting crewneck. Brushing my hair into a ridiculously big bun I walked downstairs and began cleaning.

Where else should I clean?

"August where else would you like me to clean? "

"Don't matter " he stated dryly.

"So just anywhere? " I asked
