[3rd POV]

'I can't tell if this is a mistake or not' An exasperated Gwen thought as she sat in one of the seats of the X-Men's jet, the Blackbird. The "Bird" itself was a decent piece of technology for it being 2008, and it was rather advanced for what it was.

The reason why Gwen was questioning whether or not it was a mistake, was due to the looks that Hank was giving her. The man had seemingly realized what she had meant by "Eyes that see farther than you think" and knew that she could quite literally see around the entire world with ease, and at all times.

She doubted the man would do anything, but she was sure she was going to be getting questioned later on, and that questioning would likely be rather irritating.

"So, Gwen, how old are you?" A voice cut Gwen out of her thoughts, as she turned to Jean.

"18, why?" Gwen asked, raising an eyebrow at the question as Jean looked slightly surprised.

"18, really? You look younger than me!" Jean exclaimed in surprise. She had thought Gwen was younger than her, as she did look like a teenager, a younger one at least.

"I can't tell if that is an insult or not" Gwen replied with a small pout. It was a fake one, of course.

"Not an insult, it's a compliment" Jean replied with a giggle, finding Gwen's reaction to be cute. The girls watched this with giggles of their own, as they also noticed the looks the others were giving Gwen.

"How is it that you knew those things about Max?" Xavier soon asked, as Gwen turned to him.

"I said that my eyes can see farther than you think, Charles. That includes seeing things that others cannot" Gwen replied simply, as Xaviers eyes widened in realization.

"Y-You can see the past" Xavier said, as the rest of the team's eyes widened.

Gwen smiled at the realization, as it was a rather funny sight seeing the usually calm bald man look shocked for once.

"Yep! And the future too if I want, but that's a pretty risky thing to do in a universe like this one" Gwen responded. As she didn't use her future sight in this world, mostly in fear of the effects that could have with the sort of entities that existed in this universe. Even now, she knew that there was at least a couple of them keeping an eye on Earth, but not her individually, as for whatever reason, the system was able to block that sort of thing.

"You can see the future? What is it like?" Jean asked, growing increasingly interested in Gwen and her background. The girl was noticing more and more of the unique aspects of Gwen, from her appearance, her secretive background, to her powers that seemingly let her see things that no one else could, not even her.

"The future is ever changing, red, so what I see is pretty random at moments. I won't tell you what I've seen, as that could cause some...problems, but trust me when I say it isn't all bad" Gwen responded after thinking of a response. She wasn't sure what sort of reaction the higher entities might have should she tell them anything important about the future, like Civil War, which Gwen was pretty sure would still happen in this universe.

Civil War was an...interesting topic in Gwen's eyes, mostly the second one. Civil War 2, from what she remembered, was...genuinely one of the most idiotic Superhero fights she had ever seen, all because of a foolish woman known as Carol Danvers, aka Captain Marvel. But that was something for the future, and not all that important to Gwen at the moment.

"Why can't you tell us what you have seen?" Scott couldn't help but ask. He didn't like that Jean was getting all buddy buddy with the new girl, but he was also admittedly interested in her background like the rest of them. Although this attraction and rather creepy love for Jean, was a bit...artificial. Something that Gwen had noticed, and decided she would take care of when she had the chance.
