"Has Cristina seen it?"  Honey asked.

"Let's take it down," Izzie says about to take it down.

"Iz You can't take it down."

"Take it down. Take it down. She never has to know." Izzie says pushing George to do it.

"She's gonna hear about it," Alex says as Cristina finds her colleagues trying to cover something on the bulletin board.

"Who's gonna hear about what?" Cristina asked.

"Izzie. Move your hand. Oh, come on. Move it." Cristina says as Izzei tries to hide the paper, It's revealed to be an article about Burke winning the Harper Avery Award.

"Good for him," Cristina says simply as she walks off.

"It's not a McKellen Medical Award," Honey said with a shrug.

Dr. AJ Austin stood at the head of the conference room, his arms crossed as he surveyed the group in front of him. His signature smirk was in place, but Honey knew better—beneath that cool exterior, he expected nothing but excellence.

Honey stood beside him, her posture straight, radiating the quiet authority she had earned. Her five interns stood in a nervous line, each clutching their notes. This was their moment to prove they belonged in his operating room.

"Alright," AJ started, nodding toward Honey. "Let's see if your interns actually know their stuff." He turned to the group. "Who's up?"

Drew, the most eager, stepped forward and cleared his throat. "Our patient is a 56-year-old male presenting with severe aortic insufficiency due to a dilated aortic root. He has a history of bicuspid aortic valve disease and underwent valve-sparing root replacement five years ago, but now he's experiencing worsening heart failure symptoms."

AJ nodded, unimpressed. "Alright. What's the plan?"

Vanessa stepped up next, glancing at Honey for reassurance before speaking. "The best option for him is an aortic homograft root replacement. Given his previous surgery and the increased risk of prosthetic valve complications, a homograft will provide better long-term durability and reduce the risk of reinfection if endocarditis were to develop."

AJ's gaze flickered to Honey before he turned back to the interns. "Good. You're not completely useless." He moved closer, resting a hand on the conference table. "Tell me, why a homograft and not a mechanical or bioprosthetic valve?"

Drew hesitated for a second before stepping in. "A mechanical valve would require lifelong anticoagulation, which increases the risk of bleeding. A bioprosthetic valve, on the other hand, would have limited durability in a younger, active patient. The homograft mimics native tissue and has better hemodynamic performance."
