"So I figured we could go to Beso tonight for dinner. Have you been? There's tons of other places we could go though. It's cool there. Pretty upscale. The food is amazing but it can be kind of crowded on weekends. It's Sunday though so it should be fine..." I shut my mouth once I realize I'm the only one who has been doing any talking.

I look over at her to see why she is so quiet. Then I see she is just staring at me with a huge grin on her face.

"What?" I ask smiling back at her.

"Nothing" she says while smirking at me.

"Tell me! What's so funny?"

"You. That's all."

"What about me, huh? Making fun of me or something?" I shove her playfully, partially because I want to know what's so funny, but mainly as an excuse to touch her.

"Calummm..." she says through her giggles. " I really don't care where we go for dinner first of all. Second of all, has anyone ever told you that you ramble a whole lot when your nervous? It's adorable."

"Hey! Who said I was nervous?" I tease, now fully aware how much my nerves are showing.

"It's cute though."

"You're cute though." I say back.

I can't stop smiling at her and it seems she is the same way.

"You know what, Sky?"

"Calling me Sky now, huh?"

Wow. Embarrassing. That came out by accident.

"Um yeah, sorry. Is that alright?" I ask shyly.

"Of course, Cal."

No one has ever made that nickname sound so good before.

"So um what was I saying? Oh! Let's just grab pizza at this place nearby then we can watch a movie at my place?"

Part of me realized I didn't need to wine and dine this girl to impress her. She seemed happy to just be spending time with me. The other part of me decided a whole sit down dinner would take much longer, meaning less time for kissing and cuddling. Cuddling with her suddenly became the number one thing on my list.
