I was in 2nd year Spanish class when the phone on Mr. Hastiers desk rung. He answered the phone while staring at me. Then hung up. "Cate, you can leave now." My teacher said lowly, and without enthusiasm.
I had no reason to leave, but the sooner I get out of here, the better. I grabbed my back pack, and walked out of class. I was almost to my locker when a hand cups my mouth, and pulls me into an unused classroom.
