Frustration simmered beneath Jin's forced smile. After his attempts to dote on Jungkook during practice were rebuffed, he tried a different approach. He sought out each of the other members individually, hoping they could break down the more complex dance steps for him. He was genuinely struggling to grasp the nuances, his mind often drifting, replaying the tense interactions with Jungkook or the lingering image of Jimin's easy grace during the choreography.
He first approached Namjoon, the leader often patient with such requests. "Namjoon-ah," Jin began, trying to sound casual, "could you show me that footwork part again? The one after the second chorus?"
Namjoon, who was reviewing notes on his tablet, looked up, a weary sigh escaping his lips. "Hyung, we went over that multiple times. Were you not paying attention when the dance teacher was explaining it?" He didn't wait for an answer. "Honestly, hyung, your focus seems to be elsewhere lately. Try to concentrate during the actual instruction; it would save everyone time."Next, Jin tried Hoseok, the dance leader, hoping for a more sympathetic ear. "Hobi-ah," he asked, trying his best puppy-dog eyes, "that spin into the body roll? I'm just not getting it."
Hoseok stopped stretching, his expression serious. "Jin-hyung, with all due respect, you were watching Jungkook and Jimin during that entire sequence. I saw you. Everyone did. You need to be present during practice. We don't have time to individually re-teach steps because someone wasn't focused."He received similar responses from Yoongi and Taehyung. Yoongi grunted a curt "Pay attention next time," without even looking up from his own practice. Taehyung, though gentler, echoed the sentiment. "Hyung, your eyes were glued to Jungkook and Jimin during their partner work. You really need to concentrate on what the teacher is saying."
Even Jimin, when approached, offered a polite but firm refusal. "Jin-hyung, I'm trying to perfect my own part right now. But honestly, I noticed you weren't watching the instruction. Maybe try reviewing the video later?"
A wave of embarrassment washed over Jin. It was true. His attention had been fixated on Jungkook and Jimin, analyzing their interactions, a knot of jealousy tightening in his stomach whenever their movements brought them too close. He had been so consumed by his own internal turmoil that he had completely missed crucial parts of the choreography. Now, his lack of focus was evident to everyone, leaving him isolated and struggling, a stark contrast to his usual confident demeanor. He was the one out of sync, the one holding them back, and it was all because of his inability to let go of his possessive obsession.

"Jin-ssi, you're going to need to put in extra work," the dance teacher said, his tone firm but not unkind. "Your focus wasn't where it needed to be today. I'll stay behind with you after everyone else leaves, and we'll go over the problematic sections until you get them right."
A wave of dread washed over Jin.He glanced at Jungkook, who was gathering his things, a look of exhaustion on his face. "Jungkook-ah, can you wait for me?" It was a habit from their earlier days, Jungkook often lingering after schedules to ensure Jin wasn't alone.
Jungkook stopped, his expression indifferent. "Why would I wait for you, Jin-hyung? You need to give your full concentration to learning the steps. Besides, I'm very tired. Just focus and come back to the dorm when you're finished."
He turned and left with the other members, leaving Jin alone in the vast studio with the dance teacher.
The next hour was grueling. Jin's body ached, and his mind felt foggy. The dance teacher's close proximity made him increasingly uncomfortable. The man's hands lingered on his waist, his grip firm as he guided Jin through the steps. Jin felt a knot of anxiety tightening in his stomach under the intense scrutiny.
"Sir... I'm really not feeling well," Jin finally said, his voice weak. "I think I need to go back."
"No, Jin," the teacher replied sternly. "You still haven't grasped that part. I'm not letting you leave until you can perform it correctly." He reached out, his grip tightening on Jin's waist, pulling him closer to demonstrate the movement.
This time, something snapped within Jin. The exhaustion, the discomfort, the feeling of being trapped – it all coalesced into a surge of panic and anger. He reacted instinctively, his hand flying up and striking the dance teacher across the face.
The teacher recoiled, his face contorted with rage. "How dare you!" he spat, his eyes blazing. He shoved Jin hard, sending him stumbling backward and crashing onto the hard wooden floor. Jin landed heavily, the impact jarring his already tired body.
"Today, I will teach you a lesson, you little bitch!" the teacher snarled, advancing on Jin.
"Jungkook-ah...!" Jin screamed, his voice filled with terror.
The teacher laughed, a cruel, chilling sound. "No one can hear you, baby. This room is soundproof." He loomed over Jin, a predatory glint in his eyes.
"Somebody help me!" Jin cried out again, tears streaming down his face.
"You are shouting too much!"Dance teacher said.
The dance teacher grabbed Jin's head, slamming it repeatedly against the floor. Jin's vision swam, a dizzying darkness creeping at the edges. He felt a cold, sticky wetness spreading beneath his head, a dull throbbing pain blossoming at the back of his skull. Blood began to trickle from the wound, staining the floor crimson.
The teacher then began fumbling with the buttons of Jin's shirt, his breath hot and foul against Jin's skin as he pressed his lips roughly against his neck. Jin's screams were muffled, his strength fading as the darkness threatened to consume him.
