Deadly Desires

Pov: Hinata// Alive

Previously on Deadly Desires: Hinata is overtaken by the controlling feeling, or otherwise known as, the Twin Effect and hurts Haruto. She is then forced off a bridge and with the inability to swim, she knows that's it. Meanwhile, Yuuki finds out the truth about vampires and Hinata's fate. . .

I could feel myself wake up a bit.

"Hinata...!" A what seemed distance and familiar voice yelled. My eyes opened slightly and I could see a figure standing over me, white hair and red eyes. Was I not dead...? Or is this what dying feels like...? My mind couldn't process what was happening. My eyes shut before I could see the face well. I lost consciousness, again.

"IS SHE ALRIGHT?!?!?!?! WHERE THE FUCK IS SHE?!?!?!?!?!" I could hear Yuuki yelling and I slowly opened my eyes. I was looking at an unfamiliar, white ceiling.
"HINATA!!!!!!!!!" I could feel myself being shaken. I groaned not able to make words.

"Yuuki, calm down... I'm sure she's fine but, either way, shaking her won't help," I could hear Miss Maple say. Yuuki took a deep, shuddering breath.

"W... What happened...?!" Yuuki said, her voice shaky. That's when everything came back to me.

"How...?" I whispered, surprised my voice was so low. I looked away from the ceiling and at Yuuki and Miss Maple. How was I alive...?

"Huh?" Yuuki asked in a gentle voice. I looked in the corner to see Richy, he was talking to someone who was turned around so I couldn't see his face. Only his white hair. Richly looked shocked and like an abandoned puppy while talking to the boy.

"I think she means to ask how is she still alive," Miss Maple guessed.

"Oh," Yuuki mumbled.

Everything was quiet and there was a tension. That's when it hit me. Only Yuuki knew about the controlling feeling... It looked like a suicide attempt to someone who didn't know about it. My eyes widen and I looked around at everyone who looked back at me concerned.

"It's not wh-" I started but froze. The boy with white hair had turned around and now faced me... It was Haruto. Tears stung me eyes. I was scared, shocked, confused and helpless, all at once.

"I... it's ok Hinata," Richy spoke up after a few minutes. I didn't know what to say.

"I don't even know where to start... There's a lot of explaining to be done and I don't know what to say to who and what not to say and I..." Yuuki started to say as she ran a hand through her blond hair and sighed. It was quiet. "Um, how did Hinata get saved?" Yuuki suddenly asked. Richly looked at Haruto and then everyone was looking at him. Haruto blushed.

"Care to explain?" Richy asked. He nodded and sighed.

"Uh, well... I'm sure Hinata has a good reason but we were supposed to hang out today. Instead she slapped me... Said she hated me and then ran away. I went by the bridge, just to clear my head. It's my favorite place and she ran to the bridge where I was, by Garson Avenue and... Well... You know, threw herself. I jumped in, called the ambulance and then gave her CPR..." Haruto admitted. Everyone was silent. Yuuki crossed her arms obviously trying not to cry and tapped her foot. Ms. Maple was already pouring her eyes out. My head hurt, I was so shocked I couldn't even blush at the fact I received CPR. I sniffled.

"Haruto, can I talk to you quickly?" Yuuki asked him. He nodded and I sat up, staring at my hands. Everything had gone to hell ever since I became 10. I was a vampire... I'd been forced to look suicidal. This was all so insane.

"Maybe... Maybe you should take it easy for now. Get some rest," Richly suggested.

"Thanks..." I told him. I closed my eyes, knowing that I wouldn't be getting sleep for a while.

A lot of explaining to do.
