An unexpected relationship? (Markiplier x reader)

Chapter 5

Y/N POV

I opened the door and saw the guy that was at the pet shop. He wasn't in his red flannel though. He was in a T-shirt, a Markiplier T-shirt. Wait, I had always enjoyed YouTube but I was never a die hard fan of anyone. How could I have been so blind? The guy from the pet shop was Markiplier! Is Zara a fan of Markiplier?

I was about to say something to Mark when I heard screaming. We both turned towards the loud distraction. As if on queue, Zara rushed out of her apartment crying. Mark and I rushed over to help her. "Zara are you alright?" I asked her. Then a very angry woman came out and pulled her away. Was that woman her mom? Step mom? She does not have the right to hurt her like that. I was relieved when I heard sirens.

Mark's POV

I was at the pet store. I picked out an orange tabby cat. She was adorable. I noticed there was a teenage girl eyeing me down. Was she a fan? I had surprisingly been noticed a lot less today than any other day. Honestly I was relieved. It's not that I don't love my fans! It's just they sometimes get annoying. There. I said it. Happy now? That girl, she looked familiar. I think she lived in the same apartment building as me. Her step mom was always hurting her but C.P.S. never had enough evidence to put in jail for child abuse. I think the girl's name was Zazi? Zare? Zar-a? Zara? That's it. I was about to go over and say "Hi" when two young girls walked in. One was about 15 and the other was 16.(Sound familiar?) The younger one was BEAUTIFUL. I mentally slapped myself for having that thought. As I went to the front desk, I felt eyes boring into me. As if they were staring into my soul.

TWO HOURS LATER *Spongebob narrator*

I decided to name the cat Phoenix cuz it sounds badass. I didn't have any milk and I was too lazy to go to the store so I decided to ask one of my neighbors for a cup of milk. As they answered I heard a dog barking. They answered the door and I came face to face with the BEAUTIFUL girl from the pet shop. I immediately felt my pants tighten. I don't think she noticed though, thank god! She stared at my face as if she was deep in thought. She opened her mouth to speak then quickly shut it when I heard a crash from behind me.

I saw Zara crying and she looked as if she was in pain. The neighbor rushed to her side as I called 911. She asked Zara if she was okay. Then a woman- a who looked very fierce and angry- stomped out and dragged Zara away. I then heard sirens and felt a wave of relief circulate through me.

A/N: Hey guys. This one is a little longer than my other chapters. Mostly cuz it's more "action packed" and had more details. I'm going to go to the races with my family later today so I just wanted to get this in for you. Enjoy! Buh-Bye!
