A/N: Hello there my lovelies! I was very amused throughout this entire chapter. I don't really know what else to say so just...enjoy!

Chapter 6

"You're not smiling. Wait, were you not serious about getting one?" Scott asked worriedly, "I can take her back if you don't want her," he offered.

I stared down at the precious little kitten in my hands. "Um, can you hold her for a second?" I inquired as I handed her back to him.

Connie and Rick walked into the house passed him, before putting their presents under the tree. Scott followed suit as he took the cat back from me.

"Be right back," I muttered before turning and heading up the stairs. I opened my door, relieving a certain cat who had scratched the shit out of my door already. I scooped him up before heading back down the stairs.

Connie and Rick both had amused, shocked looks.

"Merry Christmas," I exclaimed awkwardly as I held Wyatt.

"Oh my god," Scott muttered with an amused grin.

"Great minds think alike," Mom pointed out.

"The more the merrier," Scott commented.

"This is Wyatt. I kind of chose a name without you," I informed Scott.

He laughed, "I'm not surprised. I get to pick her name though," he declared before looking at the kitten in his embrace.

"We're not naming her Beyoncé," I demanded.

"I know, I know. How about..." he trailed off, thinking.

"How Aphrodite?" I suggested excitedly, "I mean, I know you were supposed to pick, but I like Aphrodite," I noted.

"Well, then I take it I'm not changing your mind. So, Aphrodite it is," Scott agreed and I smiled proudly.

"Boys, stand next to each other, we need pictures," Connie instructed.

"Absolutely," Mom agreed.

"Hurry up though, my parents are gonna be here at 1," Dad pointed out.

My smile fell as I gave Dad and look of awe, "You mean Grandpa Jon?" I asked.

An amused grin formed on Dad's face, "Yup. And he has a present for you," he assured me.

"Am I gonna like this present?" I inquired in a bored tone.

"Nope. But you could have gotten out of it," he reminded me.

I rolled my eyes and shook my head.

"What is he talking about?" Scott questioned.

I shook my head again, "Nothing," I muttered before looking towards Mom and Connie for pictures. He gave me a wary look, but dropped it.

After pictures, everyone got some coffee before gathering around near the tree for presents. Scott and I snuggled next to each other against the couch, watching our "children" run around and play.

Dad initiated the gift giving, handing out gifts to everyone in a specific order, because he knew if he just did it sporadically I would complain.

My parents got me the entire first season of Spongebob on DVD, and I demanded that Scott watch it with me as soon as we got home. Connie and Rick got Scott some new clothes from Joyrich, which he obsessed over. I got Mom and Dad matching, oversized faux blankets, since winter was colder here. Scott got Connie a spa treatment basket, and got Rick some stuff for his grill.
