I do not own glee or any of its characters, only my own OC's Johnathan and Elijah. I'm not getting profit from this story it's purely for entertainment.

Rachel's POV

My eyes rake around the empty classroom, my breath hitching in my throat as my hands start to sweat slightly the damp sensation causing my gloves to stick tighter against my hand. Clearing my throat as the fear and hesitation bubbles up in my increasingly drying throat, making it feel as if I'm choking down a rock. Words race through my head as I attempt to put into words what exactly has changed within me. Shrugging my shoulders as a cold realization of helplessness slams into me. I clench my fist tightly the leather cracking softly in my fist as I inhale deeply and close my eyes before opening them, my eyes crackling with purple lighting as my body sparks off lighting from my hands. The Arches of lighting shooting off in fast long strikes as I furrow my eyebrows, concentrating deeply as I widen my eyes in effort as the lighting blends together with fire the remaining parts of my body flaring up in flames as the sparks of the two elements radiate from me.

Puck takes a small step back as the heat wafting from my body makes him start to instantly sweat his clothes dampening slightly. "Wow, thats hot" his words coated with a double innuendo and awe settling onto his face.

A small satisfactory grin slides onto my face at my first small success at using two powers in tandem. The training session Shelby having drilled into me the day before helping with the stamina and energy this takes. Exhaling slowly I close my hand into a fist as the lighting trails off in small cracks of energy, the flames coming to a simmering glow before they fizzle out completely. Smoke leaving my skin as I straighten my clothes out glancing down to make sure they where still in tact.

"Thats whats up, Its a long story one im still working my head around but as it turns out im not completely.... Human" I mutter the end of my sentence wrapping my arms around my body tightly hugging myself as I watch the myriad of emotions wash over his face.

"Well im not really sure how thats possible but if you dont want to explain all that right now thats cool. You saved me, I think I owe you a couple of favors"

My eyes flicker across his face in relief. "Biggest favor you could do for me is not tell anyone"

He laughs before stepping forward and gently punching my shoulder, Smirking in a pleasant surprise when i dont even rock back. "I'll do you another one, I'll help you keep this under wrap at school, because no offense but your 1 mistake from exposure people already think somethings up with you because of how different you are. Your gonna need help hiding this."

Scoffing in denial I shrug my shoulders "I think im doing pretty well, your the first person to catch anything. Well actually I think Sue knows but I cant prove that"

"Dude everyone in glee has been talking about getting you to spill your secret's about your summer especially the three cheerleaders you have been drooling over." His comment causes me to raise my eyebrows. "I haven't been drooling" I mutter reaching out to shove him, I push harder than intended as he skids back stumbling into the desk behind him.

"Ok see thats not normal for you, follow me. Im gonna help you with keeping that hulk like strength you got going on in check."

He heads toward the locked door, peeking his head out before nodding and walking out gesturing me to follow. As we head to the doors of the school he starts to walk towards the back of the building where the soccer field is.

I frown deeply as he grabs a soccer ball from the pile in storage and tosses it my way. "Ok now squeeze the ball, and don't pop"

"That's your big idea? That's easy" I say squeezing the ball between my hands in what I thought was a gentle manner, I'm disappointed when it pops loudly air gushing up in my face.

Puck lets out a laugh before another soccer ball comes hurling towards my face. Reaching out to grab it with one hand at a super pace my fingers pierce right through the ball without even trying instantly deflating it.

"Seems to me if your trying to hard or nothing thinking about it at all your going to hard"

His remark causes me to scowl at him before he tosses another ball my way. I reach my hands out open faced letting it fall into them before I gently squeeze the ball again. I close my eyes focusing my hearing on the soft squeaking sound the ball lets out and I loosen the pressure against it even more as the sound dies off.

My eyes slide up toward the football player who's got a cocky smirk on his lips as he gestures to the ball. "See! Now kick it! But not to far just a few inch's out"

Placing the ball at my feet I line my left foot up ready to rocket it toward the soccer ball. Before I can even get a kick in I hear I low scream. Pulling my eyes from the ball I glance around my head turning rapidly as I try to focus on the sound. As my eyes flutter close in concentration the sound becomes clear and louder to my ears.

"Help me! Someone help" somebody gets out before the sound is muffled. My head whips to the right, my eyes locking into the direction of the alley I know is there a few blocks down.

Puck jogs over to where I'm standing "what's up?"

"I hear someone, they are calling for help" his face shows confusion at my words "I don't hear anything Rachel"

I wave him off no time to explain as I clench my fist before glancing around the field we're standing in. Not seeing anyone I speed over to the fence blocking us from the road and jump up leaping over it instantly as I land stumbling slightly before speeding off towards the muffled sound.

As I come to a halt in the alley way my hair whipping in my face from the sudden change in speed I see a man with a mask covering his face holding a gun out and pointing it at a lady. Behind her is another masked man whose hand is held over her mouth as she struggles in his grasp.

"Hey! Let her go!" I shout out my voice wavering slightly. All their eyes snap to me. The woman's filled with a mix of fear and relief. "Walk away kid, or else" The guy holding the gun says his voice slightly muffled from his mask as he swings the gun towards me, the barrel aimed right at my head.

"I said let her go" this time my voice is clear and certain as I plant my feet firmly on the ground my hands clenching into fist. "I warned you" is the only thing he says before his finger twitches a loud crack sounding as he pulls the trigger.
