I successfully entered my house and evaded my father who was out with Kenzie. Eva was in the barn outside that was converted into her doll making studio, while the boys were outside working with the horses.

Gran and granddad went out on a date, which struck me by surprise. But at least Amy didn't have to turn invisible.

I quickly ran up to my room and changed from the dress I have been shoved into this morning. Amy watched with amusement as I struggled to wash my bloodied clothes. After doing that and getting dressed, and hiding the new dress, I picked up my canvas and a few darker colors of oil paint and shoved it into Amy's arms.

"Don't scare Eva. I'll be there in a minute." I said.

"I'll wait for you." He said and closed the door behind him.

I know he's standing in front of my door, so I giggle a bit to myself. I stand in front of all of my paintings and smile slightly as the deep brown eyes stare back at me. I should probably hide it, but I seriously don't care. Picking up my palette and brushes I join Amy as we walk to Eva's studio.

"Hey Eva!" I said as me an Amy walked in.

"Amy!" Eva smiled at him. "It's been so long since I saw you. Have you had a good rest?"

"Yes. Thank you for asking."

I briefed Eva in on the little incident on the hill and she first screamed, second fainted of worry and third started consoling me about it. Yup, that's my family.

Amy helped me set up base in a vacant part and I started sketching out the base of the female witch goddess by Amy's instructions. Eva went back to her dolls and smiled at Amy and I's arguing session about the painting.

"Eva, can I ask you to do me a favor?" I suddenly turned to my sister.

"Sure, if you help me with the make up for this little beauty here."

"Can you make a doll for me?"

"Well this is a first." Eva said, but soon her face represented the Cheshire cat himself. "Is this doll for you, or for this Felix boy?"

"For his mother actually." I mumbled, looking away.

"Eve, if you like this boy you should openly flirt with him not his mother." Eva teased.

"God Eva I never said I liked him." I whined, while painting the sketch with my oil paints.

Eva giggled and got out a new porcelain base for a doll. She scooted next to me and I slid the small sketch of the doll I wanted her to make. She nodded looking at the sketch and went to fetch a piece of black cloth and scissors.

Amy suddenly rose and shielded me from a flying wooden chair. What the hell?!

"I knew you killed those kids!" Great he came back home. "I thought you were sealed inside her! You weren't supposed to come out, ever!"

"Get out of here dad! You'll break my dolls." Eva snarled and pushed him out.

But he wasn't finished and there were no gran and granddad to stop him. Without thinking twice he pulled me up by my hair and dragged me outside, where Kenzie was smiling happily.

One day that bitch will die by my hands, I'm sure of it.

Dad proceeded to drag me and stopped at a random spot and pulled out his belt. He started swinging the belt around like a mad man and hit me in several places, including my face. I counted 9 hits and then it stopped. Kenzie was screaming on top of her lungs, while dad dangled in the air in Amy's firm grip.

"Amy... Let him go..." I said in a weak voice. "And shut her up... While your at it."

Amy grumbled and let my father hit the ground with a thud. By snapping his fingers Kenzie lost her voice and I sighed in relief, while Eva stood frozen. I shook my head and stood up. Taking Amy's hand in mine, the two of us walked away so he could treat my wounds. I had quite the gash on my left side that was bleeding heavily and for now, I just need to get out of here, before my dad gets the urge to play a hero.

"Does it sting?" Amy asked, inspecting my face wound.

"You know it doesn't." I smiled weakly.

I was neatly sitting on the fence of one of the more secluded parts of the ranch. This is where the sheep and goats were kept and the blooming cherry trees covered the red headed demon and me.

Amy positioned himself between my legs and slowly brushed the bangs from my eyes.

"What are you two doing?"

We both looked sideways to see Felix and Alicia, with strawberry milkshake standing by one of the trees. I should probably learn the girl's name, but I'm not interested in her. Alicia gasped when she saw my gash and rushed forward.

"Eve what happened?" She asked.

"Nothing."

"Eve.." Alicia touched the gash and I flinched.

It's a reflex thing so that people stay away. This is the whole reason I have no friends...

"Let me heal you." Felix said, stepping forward.

"There will be no need for that." Amy glared at him, still positioned between my legs.

"What your just gonna let her bleed and be in pain?!" Felix yelled.

"Nobody said that." Amy challenged with a smirk. "Eve."

I leaned in on his command and he pulled me closer to him, tightly gripping the outside of my thighs. He then touched the gash with his nose, then his lips and finally by his tongue. He licked my wound clean and after a few seconds it started healing. Soon turning back into my pale complexion.

"I am her healer and pain keeper. She is my mistress and lover." Amy stated looking Felix dead in the eyes. "You are just a lowly wizard, with no power over me."

Felix clenched his jaw and fists, while Alicia watched wide eyed. Strawberry stared me down with hatred in her eyes and that's when I got the big picture of who she was. That's when I figured out her status in the coven.

She was Felix's wife to be.
