Blank Space (A ViceRylle story)

Kleighvin

Nasa conference room sila Agent Jugs, Agent X44, Agent W33, Agent V22, at Agent A21. Kasama rin nila si Chaco at Director.

VICE: Apparently, our subject and the missing guy had a son named Joseff Kleighvin. He disappeared at the same date with his father, Jomari. Based on the pieces of evidences and information gathered, Kleighvin was born on the 28th of November 2005. If my calculation is right, he was four years old back then.

BILLY: The Genetics department of our agency made a table that consist the physical attributes of Jomari and Karylle. (shows the table) Through this table, we were able to confirm that the child in the photograph is Kleighvin.

CHACO: Thank you, Agent V22 and Agent W33. Agent X44, kindly present to us the information you have gathered yesterday.

VHONG: Okay. (clears throat) I interviewed a woman named Katherine Grace Abad.

BOBET: Who is this woman? Ano'ng kinalaman nya sa case?

VHONG: Ahm, may alam po sya kung nasaan yung bata.

BOBET: Okay, proceed please.

VHONG: Kaye is just an ordinary citizen. Wala siyang relasyon kay Karylle, Jomari, o sa kahit na sinong involved sa case. Nagmakaawa lang daw sa kanya ang isang lalaki na siya na ang bahala sa batang kasama nito. That kid is Kleighvin.

CHACO: Where is the kid now?

VHONG: Pinapasok nya ako sa loob ng tirahan nila. Then I asked the same question. Tinuro nya yung isang ceramic jar sa altar.

JUGS: Does this mean Kleighvin is dead?

VHONG: (nods) Dinala daw sa kanya ng isang lalaki yung bata na nanghihina na. Umalis na yung lalaki. Inasikaso nya yung bata. She even called for an ambulance para madala na sa pinakamalapit na ospital. When they reached the hospital, it was too late. Habang nasa ambulansya, narinig pa daw nya na sinabi nung bata habang umiiyak, "I'm sorry Papa. Di kita na-save. Love ni Klei si Mama at Papa."

CHACO: So kasama ni Jomari si Kleighvin?

ANNE: Oh my gosh!

CHACO: What is it, Agent A21?

ANNE: Jomari has no fault in the death of Kleighvin. Sa kinuwento kasi nung subject sa akin na nung last day daw na kumpleto sila, pinipilit daw ni Kleighvin si Jomari na magstay at makipaglaro nalang sa kanya. The kid is "Papa's boy" daw.

CHACO: It's not entirely his fault, yes. But may kinalaman sya.

BOBET: Agent X44, did she describe the man that brought Kleighvin to her?

VHONG: I'm afraid not, Agent Director.

BILLY: Then, we have to ask her about it. Could it be Jomari?

VICE: I don't think so, Agent W33. Kung ikaw ba yung ama nung bata, dadalhin mo yung anak mo sa kung sino mang tao? Hindi ba dadalhin mo na agad sya sa ospital?

CHACO: You have a point, Agent V22. But hindi rin naman imposibleng si Jomari yung nagdala sa bata doon sa bahay ni Kaye.

After ng meeting, tumambay sa cafeteria sila Vice, Vhong, at Billy. Napagpasyahan na nilang kumain muna ng dinner para makapagpahinga mula sa case.

VICE: So multo pala ni Kleighvin yung nakita ko sa mansyon...

BILLY: Oo, kaya nga nagulat ako nung sinabi mo sa'kin eh.

VICE: Hindi ko rin naman naisip agad. I mean, paano ko sya makikita na four years old pa din ang itsura. He's nine years old if he's alive.

VHONG: Pero ba't naman nagpakita sa'yo yung bata?

VICE: Ewan. Basta sinabi nya sa'kin na "Mama needs you"--- Oh shit! Billy!

BILLY: Ano???

VICE: I think something's wrong with Karylle. Di ba she's been throwing up since the yesterday?

BILLY: Oo nga! Baka kaya nagpakita sa'yo si Kleighvin kasi ikaw lang ang close sa Mama nya.

VHONG: Dalhin na natin si Karylle sa Medical Department para malaman na natin!

VICE: Tara!
