Alexis's POV

October 9, 2015

I speed walk to school. I was up all night, feeling sorry for myself. Beck doesn't care about me anyway. The sky is still grey, as I feel little tiny drops of water fall onto my skin.

As I'm about to cross the street, I get a text message. I look both ways, and read it.

You're late! Hurryyyyy -Monica

I will!!!!

I smile, then look up. Someone is at the other end of the block, scaring the crap out of me. I drop my Algebra papers that are due today.

It's Chandler, he's walking ahead of me. I sigh heavily, and pick up my stuff. Suddenly, I see his hands helping me. I look up, and meet the light blue eyes.

I thought you were like, 10 feet away from me.

"Thanks," I mutter.

"No problem, sorry, I scared you," he sheepishly smiles.

"It's okay, hey, when do you want to start studying?" I ask him, done picking everything up.

The sun starts to come up, making its way towards us.

"Um," he says, runs away, then disappearing around the corner.

That was weird.

I run to my first class, being late again. Chandler isn't here. I search for him, then sit down. Mr. Hoffman glares at me, and I immediately take out my papers.

My partner isn't here. I sigh quietly, and raise my hand. Ryley looks at me, and mouths dumbass.

"Um, my partner isn't here," I say.

"Yes, Chandler?" he replies.

"Yeah," I mumble.

"You may have some homework, Dixon," he says, obviously not caring.

Ugh.

Lunch

"Where did Chandler go?" asks Monica.

"I have no idea," I say, getting my sandwich, "I seen him earlier."

"What were you two doing?" she asks, flashing a cheeky smile.

"He was helping me, then just, left," I say, eating my food.

"Weird kid," Monica mutters.

I raise my eyebrows and ignore her comment.

"Bleh!" she gags, spitting out her apple.

"Aw, Monica. It's moldy," I say in disgust.

"I'm gonna puke."

~~~
I grab my scattered algebra papers in my locker. I groan, having to sort them all out. The bell rings, as I close my locker shut.
As I'm about to leave, I spot someone at the end of the corridor. Those blue eyes, Chandler. I know it, I can feel it. I glare in confusion, and follow him at the end of the hallway.
His figure vanishes as he walks around the corner. I pace even faster, catching up to him. I get strange looks from other people. When I turn the corner, nobody is there. Just a lonely, long hallway. I shrug it off, leaving to Algebra.
~~~

Monica got sent home, sick. That leaves me, alone. Just as I'm heading home, a car zooms past me. It's Beck hanging around with the slut, Ryley.

She giggles, as her hair flies back. Beck smiles, like he did when I was with him. I roll my eyes and continue walking.

As I get home, I unlock the door and go inside. The lights are all off, so I turn them on. I grab some food and run upstairs to my room.

I throw myself into the bed, sighing. What a long day. It's really warm in here, so I open up the big windows. The fresh breeze blows in my face, refreshing me.

I look at the house next door. I have no idea who lives there. I brush it off, going on my phone. Something interrupts me, a grunting noise or something.

I look out my window, seeing the house next door. Chandler, he's in his room. He has a weird look on his face. He sees me, and stares at me. I blink to see if I'm just dreaming again.

His pale face, glows in his dark room. His blue eyes are still bright, staring at me. I didn't realize how perfect he is. Then, he closes his window, now ignoring me.

We're supposed to do that science project. I'm going to get in more trouble if he doesn't show up tomorrow. There's something really weird about him, but I don't know what.

Why won't he just talk to me? Was I mean to him? Did I insult him? Maybe he's really just not a social person. No, he's crazy. Alexis! You're going insane!

He probably doesn't even know my name.

Just calm down. He'll be at school on Monday.
