Connor walked into the change room. He threw all his equipment off his stall. He fucked up. He ruined his perfect relationship by being an idiot. He thought Allison would never find out. He wasn't even mad someone had told her, she deserved to know. She didn't deserve to be treated that way. Hell, he would've told her himself if he wasn't the one who cheated. He sat in the change room with his head in his hands. And he did the one thing he hardly ever did. He cried.
Dylan found him. "Hey, what happened out there?" He spoke softly as he walked in. "Who'd ya cheat with, Davo?"
"Lauren." Connor growled, wiping his eyes. "Can you ask Kara to go check on Al?"
"She already went." Dylan explained. "Why would you fuck up like that, man? Didn't you cheat on Lauren with Allison?"
Connor nodded. "I have no fucking clue why I fucked up with Al. I don't think."
Kara found Allison sitting in her car. She had her arms crossed and angry music blaring. Kara knocked on the passenger's seat window. Allison unlocked the door for her but didn't look away from straight ahead. Kara turned down the music. They sat in silence for a couple of minutes. Kara noticed Allison wipe her face.
"Don't cry over Connor. He's not worth being sad over." Kara said.
"I'm not sad. I'm just so pissed off." Allison explained, growling as she said it.
"You're not sad, at all?" Kara cocked a brow.
"A bit, but more frustrated. We were good. We were so good and he had to fuck up." Allison shook her head. "What am I gonna do for Thanksgiving? 'Sorry, Grandma, my boyfriend cheated so put that extra plate away!'"
"I'll come back home. Let me go tell Dyl." Kara smiled, climbing out of the car.
"Kara, n-"
Kara closed the door, walking over to where Dylan was standing. Allison shook her head. She noticed Connor walk out the back door. She glared at him as he walked to his car. Her hands were gripping the steering wheel with all the strength she had. She hated him.
Kara came back to the car and informed Allison she'd be coming to Thanksgiving at Dylan's house. Allison thanked him but she wasn't really there. She was filled with rage. Seeing Connor just walking to his car had pissed her off. She sped to Dylan's family home. She had a bag in the trunk that she packed, thinking she'd be with Connor's family.
Thanksgiving was nice. Trish and Chris Strome were unbelievably nice to her. They obviously missed the fight between Allison and Connor though, since they kept bringing him up to her. She'd just smiled and answer them. Dylan finally spoke up, letting them know what had happened. The oldest Strome, Ryan, wasn't there due to the Islanders having games. Matt was and he was funny. Allison got a hoot out of him.
After dinner, the kids were all sitting in the basement. They were playing video games and teasing each other. Well, Allison and Matt were. Dylan and Kara were cuddling on the couch. All four looked back when they heard someone coming down the stairs. It was Connor. His family wanted to stop by since they were close to the Stromes. Cam came down behind Connor. Matt paused the game and tackled Cam. Allison stood and excused herself.
"Al, come on." Connor breathed, grabbing her wrist.
"Let go of me." She hissed, not bothering to look up.
He did as asked and Allison took off upstairs to the room she was staying in. She didn't cry. She just did the ultimate stab in the heart—removed him from all social media. She changed her relationship status on Facebook, removed his name from her Twitter and Instagram bios, and changed his name in her contacts to simply 'Connor McDavid'. She was done with him.
