Allison and Connor were getting along well. He convinced her to stay for another game. She went out shopping with Kara for clothes then spent any free time with Connor. They were getting closer again.

Allison wasn't minding it. They were having fun and being casual until the night before game four against the Greyhounds. They were laughing with each other when something just changed. Before either could think, Connor was hovering over Allison while their lips were sloppily attacking each other's.

She woke up naked beside Connor. He had his face buried in her back. She felt sick. She had just hooked up with Connor. She shot up, grabbing her clothes. She slid on her clothes in a panic.

Connor slowly started waking up. He noticed how she was acting. He let out a long sigh. He knew she wasn't happy.

"What's up?" He called out.

"This should not have fucking happened." She said, shaking her head.

"Why not?" He exhaled.

"Because I didn't want it to." She huffed, looking at him. "I'm going out. I need to get away from you."

"Alli!" He cried.

She shook her head, walking out of his room. She changed in her car then drove as far from his billet house as she could without losing her way. She ended up parked in the arena parking lot.

When it came to time for the game, she went inside. Kara was already there. Allison tried to act like nothing was wrong but it wasn't easy with Kara.

They left after the game. Allison didn't say another word to Connor. Allison was quiet their drive home. Kara and her talked about Dylan and his crazy plans. Allison dropped Kara off and drove home.

She checked her phone and saw a bunch of messages from Connor. She ignored them all. She dropped face down onto her bed. She needed to stay focused on school.

That didn't last long.

She was currently driving to Erie again for what could be their final game of the semis. Kara had pleaded Allison into it. Allison couldn't say no to her best friend.

They spotted the bus ahead of them and followed it to the arena. Kara climbed out of the car and ran to the bus. She wanted to see Dylan. Allison just leaned against the front of her car. She didn't want to see Connor. She prayed he wouldn't come over to her.

Connor climbed off the bus. He stopped on the stairs and glanced over to Allison. She was looking down at her phone. He let out a long sigh. She ignored all his attempts at contacting her. He didn't even know she'd be coming tonight. He told Dylan what had happened with him. He begged Dylan to not mention it to Kara. Connor knew Allison would want to talk to Kara about it herself.

Allison smiled when Dylan came over to hug her. They loaded up her car before they climbed in. Dylan claimed shotgun. It made no difference to Allison.

Connor pulled up on Allison's side with his window rolled down. She just kept her head down as she rolled hers down.

"Are we still hanging out tonight?" Connor asked Dylan.

Dylan shrugged. "I don't know. The girls are here."

"We could all hang out?" Kara furrowed her brows.

Connor's eyes shifted to Allison. "Uh,"

"Sounds good. We can meet at that bar you guys like." Allison nodded at him before she drove off.

The night went by quickly. Probably because Kara and Dylan were in their own world. Allison dropped Kara and Dylan off at Dylan's billet house and went to Connor's. Well, that's where she told Kara she was going.
