Felix's POV

"Shouldn't he be here by now?" Marzia asked me, and I narrowed my gaze, staring at the entrance to our cave as I sighed. He most definitely should have. I offered to keep watch over us all the night before, after the storm had raged overhead. The morning was peaceful, the sun making an appearance after the dark clouds had gone, but they weren't the only thing that left. Cry was no longer in the cave, and I had to check the roster. I opened it up, and my teeth clenched. CaptainSparklez was also dead, last night he didn't make it. I showed Marzia.

"Look who died last night." I told her, and her facial expression turned from confusion to horror as she realized.

"Felix, have we teamed up with a murderer?" she whispered, and I swallowed, turning back to the entrance of the cave.

"I don't know." I admitted. There was a lot pointing towards Cry. He had been awake every night that a murder had occurred, and had seemingly only kept watch. On top of that, he was the one leading us around as we wandered the woods during the day. It was so easy for him to track other players this way against our knowledge, and the sudden disappearance this morning had sent me over the edge. Even Marzia was questioning it, which said something. She had been on Cry's side yesterday, looking at me while I accused the masked man as though I had lost my mind, and now she didn't know what to think about it.

Suddenly, some of the rocks that we had stacked to block the entrance from flooding came tumbling down, and Cry moved his way inside. He spotted us before he turned to fix them, and I shielded Marzia behind me as I glared at him, my katana in my hands. For a few moments, no one spoke as he stared at us in a confused manner, and then he cleared his throat.

"You know, you look really menacing right now. I'm not feeling too awful safe," he admitted, and I clenched my teeth,

"You don't feel safe?" I repeated, and Cry seemed to understand what I meant from that point. He looked like he rolled his eyes, and suppressed a sigh as he turned to us, leaving the entrance open as he stared. "Why the hell were you gone, then? Why did you disappear without telling us, and why did someone die last night?" I asked. Cry seemed a bit surprised by the fact that there was a death, but not enough to convince me. "That's right, CaptainSparklez died last night while the storm went on. Did you kill him?" Cry couldn't utter a word as his mouth gaped open, just watching us. His gaze switched between Marzia and I before he snapped back to reality.

"No!" he exclaimed, shaking his head and glaring. "I didn't kill anyone! I left this morning to go hunting because I know that we'll need food soon!" he explained, and I stared at him through narrowed eyes. It was true, that even with our supplies gathered together, we wouldn't have enough food to last us out the rest of the games. Even with the rate of people dying, it would be difficult without hunting or another food source. Then again, who was to say that it wasn't Cry who was doing all of the killing himself? There was a lot stacked up against him now, and even as I stared at his surprise and anger, frustration, I wasn't sure what to think. There was so much that pointed to him, and I was growing more and more worried about the fact that we were in a small, enclosed space with him that left no room for fighting let alone fighting with a sword. I would defend Marzia with my life, but with the way this was going, I wouldn't have one much longer

"If you went hunting, then why did you bring no food back?" Marzia suddenly questioned from behind me. An odd silence had fallen over the group, and she broke it by asking the one question I hadn't even thought of. I glanced back at her with a grateful look before turning to our masked friend who still crouched near the entrance to our cave. "Shouldn't you have caught something?" Marzia pressed, and I reached and arm behind me to grab her hand, which she took. Cry only gaped more.
