Andy's POV

I'm demigod. Well, my mom's a daughter of Mercury, and my dad's a son of Apollo, so I'm like 1/4 demigod or something like that.

Anyway, I was just walking down the street, minding my own business, when BAM! I fall down because this stupid girl ran into me.

"I'm so sorry," she exclaimed as she gathered her books up. They were in a language that I recognized as Greek. I didn't bother to learn what they said, Greek is too difficult to learn. I'm a Roman demigod after all.

"It's alright," I say as I give her a book. I finally get a good look at her. Blonde curls, gray eyes, tan skin, I would be surprised if her mom or dad wasn't a child of Athena. Most kids in New Rome are descendants of demigods.

"So," I say coolly, "Who are you?"

Her gray eyes burn into me. "I'm Annabeth, daughter of Athena. And y-"

"Wait!" I interrupt, "The Annabeth? As in Annabeth Chase?!"

Annabeth Chase is a legend. All of the seven are, but especially Annabeth. After finding the statue and making it out of Tartarus alive, not to mention countless other quests, it was no wonder why she was so well known. She was also my idol. This girl could kick anyone's butt, easy. Not to mention that she isn't bad looking, if you know what I mean.

"Yeah, I guess so." She shrugs as if it's no big deal.

"So that means that you went through Tartarus and lived?" I exclaimed.

She closed her eyes and collected herself before answering me. "Look, I've got somewhere I need to be, I'm sorry." Annabeth moved past me.

"Hey wait!" I called and grabbed her arm. Once again, the books spilled everywhere.

She stared at the books on the ground and slowly looked up at me.

"... Sorry?..." I said slowly, my hand still on her arm.

Next thing I know, I'm in the ground, judo flipped by a legend.

Painful? Yes.

Completely worth it because your idol just slammed you into the ground? Yes

Annabeth's stormy gray eyes glared daggers at me as she picked her stack of books up once again. I rolled onto my feet and stood back up.

"Hey, I'm really-" I started, but she was already out at the steps of New Rome College.

Well, at least I met my idol... Right?

I'm really sorry for not updating in forever. School started a week ago and my inspiration level (is that a thing??)is at an all time low. Any comments, questions, or suggestions are happily welcomed!
