The sun was setting when we finally pulled into the driveway of the pack house. My body was stiff and the silence was beginning to grow uncomfortable between Weston and I again. It seemed I had really hurt his feelings when I didn't tell him how my wolf felt. It was strange feeling guilty, I hadn't felt this way in a long time and didn't enjoy it at all. Once we were parked, I climbed out of the car and stretched out, a soft moan slipping past my lips in relief. When I turned to collect my bag, I found Weston staring at me with black eyes, deep in thought. As the others walked away, I took the opportunity to apologies.

"Hey Alpha Nieght?"

He shook himself from his trance. "Please don't call me that."

I could feel my forehead scrunch together in confusion. "Why?"

"My wolf and I hate it. You are our mate; you don't need to be formal."

"But calling you by your name makes my wolf all...weird."

"Oh yeah?" He seemed to brighten with this information, I nodded and everted my gaze from him.

"I just wanted to apologies, if I had offended you before, I promise that is never my intention."

"I know." He looked deep into my eyes, making me fidget.

"Will I just be in the same room as last time?"

"Well I was hoping you'd be okay with staying in my house. I have spare rooms; it would just help me stay focused if you stayed there."

"Okay."

His eyes widened in surprise. "Wait what?"

"Yeah?"

"You're really okay with it?"

"It's just a bed." I shrugged, not really caring where I slept as long as I could get this done and over with.

Frowning, he nodded, clearly not saying what he really wanted to. "Then hop back into the car. I'll drop you off to get settled in and then come back to debrief with Mark."

I climbed in. "Who's Mark?"

"My fourth. He's a very skilled fighter, creates our patrol schedule and helps with training."

"You left him to look after the pack?"

"Yes."

Weston pulled out of the driveway and drove past the small hospital and stores. When we came to the edge of the clearing, he pulled into a hidden driveway and we came up to a beautiful log cabin tucked away in the trees. There was a tire swing out front, hanging from a massive tree and on the porch was a big hammock. I couldn't fight back the smile it gave me. This was not what I had been expecting and I loved that.

"You have a beautiful home."

He smiled proudly, looking it over himself. "You really think so?"

"Yes."

"Well, let me show you around."

Snatching my bag from my hands, he led me to the front door. Following behind him my wolf began to cry in joy. She was so emotional about everything when it came to him and I hated it. It made it impossible to focus or think clearly. She just wanted to touch and smell everything, bask in his scent and enjoy everything about it. To my surprise he was the only one who had ever really been here. Every now and then I could get a sniff of Tyler or Kate but no one else, not even Charley.
