aint it funny how the world turns
and leaves you dragging behind
like some cosmic joke

her eyes tell the story her mouth cant
her words locked in a deep freeze
frozen in time
her smile hides the pain she faces every morning
she wonders how much more she can take
her hands shake in anger at the indifference of others but what can she do?

she is but one girl
so alone in such a big world
who would notice if she slipped away
her sence of sanity is gone

just like her tolerence of the world
the fire bites her throat
in the pain comes a sweet relief
a dullness settles over her sences
a sweet release
from a never ending hase of pain and tests
death becons her
and she steps closer her hand out
her mind screams for help
her mouth locked shut
toung forgets its place
biting remarks slip out
stinging those who actually care
her eyes hide her storm
her pain grows
and torments her every night
as she stairs at the walls
