*Three days later/Josh's POV*

Tami's been ignoring since Mason's comment, everyone has noticed her being distance. Why is this been so difficult? I sighed and leaned back in my chair, everyone went out but me. I stayed back to edit but I obviously can't focus, I grabbed my glass that was on my desk before getting up and going downstairs. I walked into the kitchen just as the front door closed, I didn't think much of it until Tami walked in. We both looked at each other before Tami looked down and walked in, she set some bags on the island before pulling groceries 

"Where's Mason?" I asked trying to break the silence 

"School" Tami replied before putting the stuff away 

"Tami you can't keep ignoring me" I said 

"I'm not" Tami said before leaving the kitchen, I groaned in annoyance before going back to my room. This is going to be more difficult than I thought, I sat back in my chair and started to edit again. For some reason I could hear things drop upstairs 

"JOSH" I took my headphones off, was someone calling me?

"JOSH HELP" I dropped my headphones and ran upstairs since the scream was Tami's, I got to her room and found her pinned to the bed with someone on top of her 

"GET OFF ME" Tami shouted and struggled against the person's grip, I quickly ran over and pulled the person off her. I looked more closer to see it's a guy I've never seen in my life, I looked at Tami who was curled up against the headboard with tears rushing down her face

"JOSH LOOK OUT" Tami shouted, I looked behind me just in time to see the guy throw a punch at me. I quickly dodged the punch and we broke out into a fight, I can hear Tami talking to someone but I can tell that was she struggling since she was crying. I must of lost my focus because next thing I knew I was laying on the floor and punches were being thrown at me

"GET OFF HIM" Next thing I knew, the person dropped to the floor. I looked to see something like glass was laying around him, I looked at Tami who was shaking. I stood up slowly and pulled her towards me

"I-I didn't kill him did I? I-I p-panicked and h-hit him with the lamp" Tami cried before hugging me, she then looked at me and her eyes grow

"Y-you're bleeding, y-you're hurt" Tami said and started to panic

"Hey hey hey, I'm ok I promise" I said, just then I heard the front door opening

"POLICE" I heard someone shout, Tami pushed me to sit down on her bed before running out of the room. I could hear talking but couldn't make out what was being said, then Tami came back with the police behind her. Tami ran back over to me and I noticed a towel in her hands, she held it against my nose since I was bleeding. The police were taking care of the guy and paramedics came in, they looked over my face

"We will need to take you to the hospital just to make sure that there isn't any broken bones" the paramedics said 

"Before they go, who did he get in and do you know him?" The police asked 

"W-window and he's my ex boyfriend" Tami said, that was her ex???

"I will need to take your number for further questions" The police said, Tami nodded her head before giving. After they took down her details, the police left while me and Tami went to the hospital. Great, how we going to explain this to our friends??...
