*Two days later/Josh's POV*

Me and Tami decided to have a barbecue today and invite the others and their families, I called mum and dad and invited them as well. Tami invited Mason's grandpa as well since we both were having family and friends so it was best if we did. I was in the garden along with Mason setting up the grill while Tami was setting up a table with plates, cups and a few drinks. The weather, for once, was actually nice that's why we planned this whole get together 

"You guys going to play football after?" Tami asked and held up the football 

"Yea but after we eat" I said, she nodded her head and left the football in a corner

{Skipping when everyone gets here and the eating part because I'm lazy}

We all were now just chilling in the garden, us guys plus Mason were playing football while Tami was with the mums and the other girls

*Tami's POV*

I was sat with Natalie, Jenny, Lia, Kelsey and the mums while watching the guys and Mason play football. Mike and the other dads were in their own little world talking about something

"Your son is really smart for his age Tami" I was snapped out my thoughts when Rebecca said my name, I looked at them and nodded my head before smiling 

"Yea he is smart for his age" I said 

"If it wasn't for Mason then Tami and Josh wouldn't be together to be honest" Jenny said 

"Yea I agree because we have been trying to get Tami to date but never did until Mason told her that she should be with Josh" Natalie said 

"Seems like he was protective over his mother and wanted the best for her" Mrs Minter said 

"I agree, a son that tells his mother who she should be with is a big thing since he would know what his mother likes" Mrs Barn said 

"Well I'm glad he picked my son" Rebecca said 

"We all are glad" Lia said 

"I actually knew he was protective of his mother when I met him at his birthday party, he was excited since it was his party but I did also notice him looking at his mother and making sure she's ok" Kelsey said, I looked at my lap and blushed 

"Aw that is just so cute" Mrs Lewis said 

"I'm glad Josh has found someone that understands him" Mrs Lerone said 

"Tami, your son is heading over" Mrs Payne said, I looked up to see Mason coming over. Once he was close by I picked him up and sat him on my lap 

"What's up baby?" I asked 

"I'm tired mummy" Mason said and rubbed his eyes, I frowned a little 

"It's only 5 in the afternoon" I said 

"Football makes me tired" Mason said 

"Right, it does. Sorry baby I forgot" I said 

"It's ok mummy" Mason said and kissed my cheek, I smiled and kissed his forehead

"How about we sit here and watch the others play?" I asked 

"Yea" Mason said before resting his head on my chest and watched them play, I rested my head on top of his and watched as well. Josh looked over and winked which made me blush and look down 

"This is just too cute" I heard one of the girl or mums say, that made me blush more. Today has been eventful..
