*Josh's POV*

I looked at Tami waiting for her to explain, she looks at me then Mason

"I'll explain but not with him around" Tami said, she kissed Mason's head and he smuggled into her

"Mummy, I'm tired" Mason said, Tami smiled and picked him up

"Let's get you to bed" Tami said

"Go to my room and put him to sleep there, that why you can keep an eye on him but also explain" I said, Tami looked at me before nodding her head

"Can you get him a glass of milk please?" Tami asked, I laughed a little

"5 years old still has milk before going sleep?" I teased

"Yes because mummy said it would make me big and strong, I'm not giving up my milk" Mason said, me and Tami chuckled

"Baby, he was only joking around" Tami said

"Yea little man, it's good that you still have milk plus it would help fighting off the bad guys" I said

"Like Batman?" Mason asked

"Yes, like batman" I said chuckling

"AWESOME" Mason shouted and Tami giggled

"Come on, bed time" Tami said

"Milk, cold or warm?" I asked

"Warm, thank you" Tami said before leaving with Mason. I grabbed the milk from the fridge and grabbed a glass before pouring some milk in. I then placed the glass in the microwave and started it, I put the milk away as I wait for the glass milk to heat

"BITCH GET HERE" I heard Jenny shout

"JENNY! LET GO" I heard Simon shout

"LET ME KILL HER" I heard Lia shout

"LIA!" I heard Harry shout

"BEEF! BEEF! BEEF! BEEF!" I heard JJ, Ethan and Tobi shout

"YOU GUYS HELP" I then heard Natalie shout, just then I heard something break and the room went quiet. I was about to go check what happened when the microwave beeped, I walked over and grabbed the glass of milk before going upstairs to my room. I walked in to see the curtains closed, Tami sat crossed legged while leaning against the headboard with Mason on her lap. Tami smiled when she saw me and sat Mason up, I walked over and handed her the glass. She took it

"Thank you" Tami said before holding it out for Mason, Mason begun drinking the milk until the glass was empty

"Toilet?" Tami asked and Mason nodded his head, I sat down on my bed while Tami took Mason to the bathroom. What did Mason mean by 'Mummy and 'him' shouting and fighting'? Did her and her ex fight a lot? Has Mason watched them fight? All these question were going through my head that I didn't realise that Tami and Mason came back until Mason got underneath the covers, I looked over and watched Tami make sure Mason is comfortable. She kissed his forehead and Mason closed his eyes, she waited until she knew that Mason fell asleep then came over and sat down facing me. She crossed her legs and I leaned back against the wall 

"Tami, what happened?" I asked, I watched as she played with her sleeves 

"He was caring at first, always put me and Mason first. He looked after us but then started hanging around with this violent group. Everything changed, he allowed people to stay without telling me. It was like I just turned into a babysitter and looked after all of them, he stopped caring. Pushed Mase away, it got to the point where Mase didn't want to be in the same house as him. I had stress from Uni and he just put more stress on me. I had to cook, clean, pick up rubbish and other stuff like that. So I would get back from Uni and before I could put my bag down, I would have things thrown at me to be done" Tami said then sighed, I looked at her and placed a hand on hers

"We started arguing one day, I was tired because I wasn't getting any sleep. I was trying to explain to him that he needs to do more around the house and to stop being friends because it got to a point where it wasn't safe for Mason. He took everything the wrong way and kept shouting, Mason wake up and came downstairs; he saw us arguing but we didn't see him. It was a heated moment and my ex hit me; I was shocked and when he moved to leave the living room, we saw Mason. I grabbed Mason and went upstairs, he cried because that was like the first time he saw me argue or even get hit. After that day Mason never left my side, he never wanted to go school and I couldn't say anything to anyone. My ex started to shout or hit me everyday, he got controlling and I had no way out. He started to call me names and I would believe him, Jenny and Natalie both noticed my change in clothing, the way I acted and I would flinch whenever someone touched me. It got to the point where I self harmed because of his comments" Tami said, she looked  at Mason and I noticed a tear roll down her face. I carefully moved closer to her until I was sat in front of her, I turned her face so she was looking at me. I wiped her tear 

"You don't have to continue" I said softly but she shook her head 

"Might as well continue since I've started" Tami said and sadly smiled 

"Take your time" I said

"One day me and him got into a very heated fight, he was throwing things around. I had to send Mason upstairs because I didn't want to risk him getting hurt, I tried to stop my ex but he would push me or hit me. He was shouting and I wasn't surprised if the neighbours called the police, he told me to go die before leaving the house. I took it serious and went upstairs, I ignored Mason and locked myself in my room. Mason stood outside just shouting, screaming and crying; I could sit there and listen so I went bathroom and locked myself in there. Mason must of panicked and grabbed the house line, we had Jenny and Natalie on speed dial so he called Jenny. Her and Natalie just got out of lesson since they were in Uni, he was panicking so much and they could just hear crying and him shouting. They rushed over and called the police while I sat in the bathroom, I was still able to hear Mason and I just wanted everything to stop so I grabbed a razor. I made deep cuts on my arms just as I heard the front door opening and people rushing in, everything went black after and I don't know what happened. I woke up in hospital to find out that my ex was arrested, me and Mason were getting moved into a new house with the girls moving in with us. But then Jenny and Natalie both got boyfriends, hated the fact at first but then I couldn't hold them back. Jenny moved here and Natalie stayed since Ethan was still living his mum until now, I wouldn't be surprised if she moves in with him though. The house we have now is the house they moved us to, the police said he wouldn't get to us but he did" Tami said before finally breaking down into tears, I pulled her onto my lap and let her cry on my shoulder

"He's gone now" I said 

"But what kind of mother does that? Sits and listens to her son cry and shout?" Tami cried 

"A broken and lost mother who is just looking for someone to help her" I said, Tami looked at me 

"I'm so sorry I pushed you and the guys away" Tami said 

"It's ok now that I know why, do you want the guys know?" I asked, she looks lost at first before resting her head on my shoulder 

"I guess but I'm scared of their reaction" Tami said 

"It will be fine, they won't judge and if they do then they have me, Jenny, Natalie and little man here to deal with" I said, Tami chuckled a little 

"I know this sounds stupid but we should take Mason on a little holiday, he hardly gets out of London and I feel bad" Tami said, I chuckled 

"What does this have to do with the topic?" I teased, Tami giggled and lightly hit my shoulder 

"It doesn't, I was changing topic" Tami said 

"I know you were love and yea a holiday sounds good, I think we all need one" I said

"We do, we all need to get away from this horrible weather. We need sun, we all look ill" Tami said, I looked at her

"You look pale, you ill or something?" I joked before placing a hand on her forehead 

"Ha ha ha very funny" Tami said and hit my hand away, I chuckled and kissed her head...
