Oh, fair mother that hangs above
Illuminating light for all to come
Igniting divine presence through your lunar love
within this given night as you commence to shine
bringing comfort to life below,
while snugly tucked amongst the stars above;
such little waves of light
Oh, fair mother that hangs above
Illuminating light for all to see
holding that pose if only for a moment
before the darkness is swallowed by the light;
such wisdom conceived in your heavenly womb
a visual proof of things that come to fruition
Oh, fair mother that hangs above
Illuminating light for all to feel
your monthly cycle-fragments of our present lives,
through dark caves of time you dare burst the veil
of conception to ignite your light
of lunar perception enchanting those you will find
invoking light no one can steal
into this night when we are healed
