Look up at the sky,
but don't stare at the sun
for fear of burning your eyes
look down at the sea,
but do not fall in
for fear of what lies beneath
hear all the birds chirp,
a glee for spring,
even though you weep
listen to all things
carefully, as they flow free;
little laughter, little cry-
awaken from your dreadful night
can you now see,
how you flow free?
No longer distraught,
and no more onslaught.
Weary of all things,
you faithfully ascend
