A savage beast lays in my bed,
give to me no more debt,
and let me wield the power of the flute
to play the song "transparent fool."
I begin to sing,
such rhythm, sweet,
I begin to beat,
till i bleed,
till i bleed,
dancing to the song, "a siren's not mute."
Taking in the beat before silence meets the beast,
an ending to the life-
the life you dread,
a mistaken step taken
of things previously unsaid.
