Peridot's p.o.v.
To think, I, Peridot, am dating someone is pretty surprising. In high school a lot of guys asked me out, I rejected all them. For some reason people raise the suspicion that I was gay, to be honest I didn't really question sexuality till now. Then I met Lapis. Wow, she really is changing my life. I wonder how long we'll date, hopefully forever. I have a feeling though if we were going to break up, I would probably be the one to say it. Ugh, why the hell am I thinking of that?! I look down and noticed that I had drawn Lapis. She was floating in the ocean, staring up the a sky. She looked so pretty. I felt my face get hot a little, I'm so in love with her. Anyway, I might as well show Lapis the picture I drew of her. I should work on a bit more. The reason I like art so much now is that I get time to do my assignments. I have peace and quiet. People are mature and stupid as hell. It's paradise. I was about to ink the drawing of Lapis then I heard the bell ring. Aww! I wanted to have sometime to ink her at least, maybe I could do that at home. I went over to the bus when I noticed Lapis running towards me, yelling,
"PERI~!" Lapis jumped on me
"H-hi..."
"So, how are you?"
"Uh, good."
"You okay?"
"Well, Your sort of laying on me right now which is hurting my chest and the bus driver is watching.... Could you get off me?"
"Oh, sorry." Lapis got off me immediately
"I was just about to go too the dorm, what are you doing out?"
"W-well, I-I wanted to see you.."
"Oh, well you could have just texted me, you know?"
"I'm too lazy to, and besides I-I wanted to ask you something...."
"W-what?"
"Well .... C-could we go on a date tonight?"
"A d-date?"
"Yea, I-I understand if you don't want to go I-"
"Lapis, I-I would love to go on date with you!"
"R-really?!
"Yea!"
"Well, would 7:30 work?"
"I don't have anything to do at that time so I think that's a good time."
"Okay! Me and amethyst are going shopping so I could wear something cute for you~"
"O-okay..." I couldn't help but blush, what was Lapis going to wear?
"What are you going to wear?"
"Oh... I-I was just going to wear something simple."
"Okay! That's seem something you'd do, anyway byeeeeee!" I noticed amethyst pull up with her car "Yo." Lapis got in the car and drove off with her in a flash, wow.
(i could picture amethyst listening to rap when pulling up, yelling "SUP, BITCHES!" Lmao)
Hmm. Now that I think about it, I should wear something nice, but then again... I freaking hate dressing nice. Fuck. I browsed through my closet to find something nice, I had no luck. Maybe I should wear what I'm just wearing right now, but then again that's sort of weird. Hmmmmm. Oh well, hopefully Lapis will wear something nice. I glanced over at Lapis's drawer. Hmmm... What type of clothing brands does she wear. Her clothes are pretty cute. I couldn't help but smell them, Lapis had such a nice smell to her. She smelled like flowers and vanilla. WHAT AM I SAYING UGHHH. I rolled on the roll in misery.
Lapis's p.o.v.
"So, what do you have in mind to wear?"
"Well I was thinking maybe I could wear something cute and simple..."
"Cute and simple..... Hmmmmm." Me and Amethyst walked to a store that was painted light pink. It looked a cute store, so we decided to head in.
"Is this the type of place you had in mind?" Amethyst asked me.
"Yep."
"Okay, well let's get looking!"
Me and Amethyst searched to find the prefect outfit. I saw a dress that was really cute but sadly they didn't have my size. Why. I found a ton of dresses that I liked except they all had something off about them. Too tight, too small, too baggy, too everything. Whyyyyyyyyyyyyyy. This is why I can hate clothes shopping sometimes.
"Yo, Lapis!"
"Yea?"
"Have any luck yet?"
"Nope."
"Hmm, I found a dress you might like!" As soon as I heard that I bolted straight over, the dress Amethyst picked out was pastel blue with no sleeves, it was a just a plain simple dress. So we bought it, lucky it was on clearance so that was good. Amethyst dropped me off at the dorm.
"Hope you have fun at your date! If know what I mean..." Amethyst smirked at me.
"Shut up."
"See ya later!" Amethyst drove off. I headed up to the dorm to see peridot searching through her clothes.
"Um, Peridot?" Peridot turned her head around and ran towards me
"Lapis! Thank god your here! I have no clue what to wear for tonight and UGHH!!!"
"W-well you could just wear the clothes your wearing right now."
"Oh. Well, I-I feel like I should wear something nice."
"Could I pick out an outfit for you?"
"Uh, yea, sure."
"Okay." I searched through my closet and drawers to find something she'll like.
"How about this?" I handed her some jean shorts, a camouflage green tank top, and a dark red jacket to top it off. She stared at it for a minute and stared to blush.
"I-It's cute... I'll wear it."
"Okay, great! I'll show you the dress I got." I pulled out the dress and peridot face got even more red "I-I'm sure you'll look cute in it..." I smiled at her, God, she's such a dork.
"We can go right now, if you'd like too."
"To be honest, I would prefer to go now."
"Okay, sure. Anything that makes you happy!" Peridot blushed a light pink.
"U-um.... I'm gonna change in the b-bathroom, okay?"
"The... Bathroom?"
"Yea..."
"Okay..." I have a feeling she's probably so embarrassed to even change in front of me.
After Me and Peridot got changed we decided to head our date.
"So, where should we go to eat at?"
"I saw a frozen yogurt place that looked good!"
"Lapis, I meant real food."
"Oh. Hmm.... I don't know." She sighed angrily at me.
"Ugh....."
"Wait, I know the place!"
"You do, What's it called?"
"Panda Express!"
"Your kidding.. Right?"
"Nope! Let's go to Panda Express right now!"
"You bought a cute dress for the date and We, more like you, decide to Panda Express."
"Yep." She started to laugh
"Wow, your such a dork."
"Your the dork here, not me!"
We ended up going to Panda Express which Peridot was still wondering why the hell we went there. People were staring at us, but we didn't care. After we ate, a little girl went up to us and said how adorable we were together. Peridot got really embarrassed at that, which was super cute. We decided to go on hike again, because hikes are freaking awesome.
"I feel like we should have gone home and got changed then go on a hike."
"Peridot, it's fine."
"Okay...."
"Let's come up with cheesy pickup lines!"
"What?"
"Come on, it'll be funny!"
"Okay. Uh, I-i lost my number can I have yours? Oh god I sound stupid." I could help but laugh at her, she could so cute sometimes.
"Okay, my turn! I think I must be dying because I'm looking at Heaven!" I said that in the most dramatic way possible. Peridot stopped walking and looked up at me.
"L-Lapis?"
"Yea?"
"... Can we k-kiss?" She said, her face all red.
"K-kiss?"
"Yea... I would like too kiss."
"C-could we kiss later?"
"Sure..."
The hike took about 15 minutes to complete, we headed back to the dorm. As we were driving I couldn't help but think why did Peridot kiss? I mean sure I can tell why she asked, but she doesn't like the person to ask someone a question like that. Hmm, now that I think about it Peridot is really in love with me. I mean like a lot. We got back to the dorm which took about 25 minutes. We head upstairs and just decided to chill.
"S-so...?"
"What? Oh Yea..."
"Well... Kiss me already!"
"Bu-!" Peridot pulled my shoulder towards hers and kissed me. Wow. Peridot she's actually kissing me. Maybe she isn't that embarrassed when it's her kissing me. I glanced over at face. Her face had a red all across her checks. She started kissing me a bit harder. I grabbed her waist and pulled her closer to me. All of a sudden Peridot's eyes got wide, she broke the kiss and pushed me off her. She looked embarrassed.
"P-peridot..." She ran straight to her bed and hid her face into a pillow. I went over to her. She glanced up at me with her beautiful eyes.
"Lapis... Sorry for kissing you so suddenly it's just that I-I love you a lot and...Yea..."
"Peridot, it's my fault! I-I didn't really feel like kissing you then to be honest...."
"Oh..."
"Yea."
"It's fine. Anyway, goodnight!" She turned away, she was probably offended by what I said. Great move Lapis. I've seen Peridot act like that thought. What a dork. I pulled Peridot's body towards mine and held her. "W-what are you doing?"
"Using you as a body pillow... Go to bed if say for going."
"O-okay, Love you...."
"Me too..." We both drifted off to sleep.
