Walking towards the park on a warm day I couldn't help but to start to feel optimistic about the situation.
I trust Jaime he's my best friend and he would never lie to me. After entering the park I see Jaime sitting under the tree in the center of the park. It was our tree. The tree where we first met. I walked towards him giving him a hug.
"Hey Jaime" I said my voice sounded happy.
'Hi (y/n)". He said.
"I have an idea he said .
"What is it?" I asked curious.
"We could ask the guardians for help'. He stated.
"We could but jack betrayed them". I said, while remembering the story of Jack's background.
"They wouldn't want to help us it would mean having to face their past, their failures ". I said
"I know that (y/n) but, we have to try he said.
"Ok ". I said finally agreeing .
After that we talked about old stories, the fun we had and in those moments I felt like jack never came into my life no darkness no nightmares just good.
Soon it was sunset and we had to leave but, not without one more thing.
"(Y/n) may I ask you something? He said
"Sure Jaime". I said
"Would you like to go on a date?" He asked shyly with a light blush on his cheek.
"I would like that". I said giving him a peck on the cheek.
He smiled brightly and proceeded to walk me home.
