Chapter 10: Prom NightsSplit Tights and Onion Rings

I just got dropped off by my uber

I was sitting on the stairs, thinking about what I would do after I really found out the truth

The front door open and there stood a relieved Kourtney

She looked like she wanted to hug the life out of me, then slap the taste out of my mouth at the same time

But she did the complete opposite and she just sat down next to me

"All I was suppose to do was come to the center, take some pictures, and donate for the older girls like yourself to get to the college" she said breaking the silence

"But when I met you I felt something, but I just brushed it off"

Her eyes became teary, "Then we met again and again, and then I knew what that something was, it was you"

I began to cry

"I'm not sure why Kylie said those things to you, but we will get the problem solved" she said wiping away my tears

I pulled her into a hug "Thank you so much mom"

She grabbed my face "When something bad happens you need to talk to me, NOT run away"

I nodded my head "i'm sorry"

The Next Morning:

I woke up with the sun shining, I grabbed my computer and made a tweet

Tweet: It's been a while, but I'm back! Good morning lovies! 

I threw my computer on the bed and grabbed my phone from the charger.

Txt Message:

Me: Good Morning...

I then threw my phone on the bed and jumped in the shower

"When tomorrow comes

I'll be on my own

Feeling frightened of

The things that I don't know

Tomorrow comes" I sang loudly

10 minutes later:

I walked out of the shower and walked into my closet. I pulled out a tank top and some black tights. I then threw it on and grabbed my phone and laptop and headed down the stairs

"Morning" I said hugging Kourtney

"Morning doll" she said handing me a cup of coffee

"Just how I like it" I said smelling it "perfect"

"You know what was perfect this morning?" Kourtney asked me

"What?!" I said sipping on my coffee

"your singing" she said eyeing me

I literally almost choked on my coffee "My WHAT"

"you have a beautiful voice Christal, I'm not joking" she said sitting next to me

I blushed, I never sang to anyone, I never really listened to myself

"okay, so will you just go to the studio and just lay down a few tracks" she said with puppy dog eyes

"Kourtney, I am not even that good"

"Kid" she said "I wouldn't want you to embarrass yourself, if I say your good, BELIEVE ME you're good"
