Seeing Colours

Chapter 14

So quick author's note before I begin: I want to start of by sending out a massive apology for not updating sooner. I have been swamped with tech and all however I am now on break meaning I will try and update soon in the hopes of finishing soon so you can all read my next story. Anyway on with the show, well story, anyway if any of you are still reading this I wanted to thank you all so much for reading and voting on this story it means so much to me.
 

"Emilia, Emilia," Ethan said shaking Emilia's shoulders, trying to awaken her from the deep sleep that had been brought on, due to stress and hundreds of different emotions rolling onto Emilia, like the rocks at the bottom of the cliffs .

"Hmm," Emilia said raising her sleepy head off Ethan's shoulders and looking around the room, till Chase's silhouette lined the room.

"When did...you...get her," Emilia said groggily, not remember if or when Chase was there before the gunshot went off.

"Well you know, I do like my midnight strolls," Chase said in his deep Irish accent that made Emilia's heart stop every time his voice rings in her mind.

"Oh right," Emilia said realising the pieces of the puzzle don't actually connect.

"Well I better be going don't want mother to worry too much about me after all those gun shots," Chase said before exiting the room.

"You don't think Chase had anything to do with it," Ethan said getting worried so much that he had to barricade the doors.

"No...well I am not sure. I didn't think he would have anything to do with it because of what happened with his sister, Evolet, all those years ago. However now, I am not to sure. I mean who in their right minds takes a walk at 12 in the morning. Don't they realise the amount of bad people who are out there are night," Emilia said tossing through the countless amounts of possibilities in her head.

"But haven't you noticed that whenever he is around clues always start to appear once he either arrives or he, well, you know leaves." Chase said eyes wide like she had just made some sort of great and wonderful breakthrough.

Just then Emilia felt her phone vibrate in her pocket,

"You may think you know, but it is someone you will least expect me to be. Oh and don't worry I promise not to hurt her. After all it's you that I am trying to hurt. Why would I even hurt a child? I mean its like hurting a pet. Whoever does it is low life and has no heart or soul for that matter."

Emilia looked to the side of the house where she saw a figure she knows holding a tiny object that looks like a child's blanket, the same blanket that had been left on the couch after they had found out the child had been taken. Emilia looked and suddenly worked out who the attacker was, and it definitely was not Chase, and whoever it was, well it looked like that they would keep their promise of not hurting her, and would keep her safe. Now all Emilia needed to do was try and work out who she was allegedly hurting.

"Ethan, I am not sure anymore that this is Chase we are after. I think its someone else. I recognise that shadow and it is not Chase," Emilia says with a gulp.

"So you mean, you think you know who we indeed are now after," Ethan said looking at his sister in shock.

"I think... I think I do," Emilia said as her face turned pale like she had seen a ghost, finding it harder and harder to breath with every breath she takes, knowing, well thinking she knows who her sisters attacker is , is quite hard to handle, at least she felt safe. Safe in the fact that the attacker wouldn't hurt addition somehow calmed Emilia even tho she was still as scared as can be.

So apologies in order. I am so sorry for the long wait for the update. Anyway the other bad news, you can probably tell this chapter is almost the end, however I am determined to make these chapters extra special so don't forget to vote and comment. It will mean a lot to me.

Clues are as followed

1"Hahaha. Addison got what was coming to her you know. No-one messes with me and your sister got in the way."

2 - "Next time she wont be so lucky."

3- I am warning you if you hurt them, she will pay the price

4 - This is your finally warning if you hurt her, Addison will pay the price

5 - She may be fine now but she wont be fine if I have any thing to do with it

6 - "You have one more chance, one more or she gets it. If you hurt my best friend I hurt yours'

7 "I am warning you if you dare hurt them you won't be the one to pay the price but your darling little sister will be the one to pay the price.

"8"You better sleep with both eyes and ears open, no-one is safe"

9 "I swear if you go to the local authorities, she will die"

10 "I told you if you ever hurt her you will pay for it, and you have hurt her, so she will pay the price, you have till sundown on the 3rd Sunday of the month to get the money to me or start being nicer to her, whatever comes first."
