Chapter 4

Who does she think she is? I thought.

Noah:
6:00 sounds good??

Shit I forgot!

Me:
Yeah talk to you in school!!:)

I sigh. I have to make a plan, she's not gonna win. I sigh once again and go to bed. Just as I was about to fall asleep I hear a knock on the door.

"Nobody's here!" I whisper yell. But they still come in, I was about to yell since I thought it was my mother but it was my brother.

"What do you want?!?" I asked not to nicely.

"I don't like when we fight...." He said. Ugh I can never stay mad at my brother when he does that pouty face. I mean look at him..... Wait you can't look at him hehehe lol . He has brown hair just like me, he's tall and you can see a bit of muscle but his best thing is his eyes, they are sky blue....they are really pretty unlike mine that are plain brown.

"Me neither..." I reply.

"I'm sorry." He says with a hint of guilt.

"Hey don't be sorry, it's all my fault." I admit.  "I just tend to say things that I don't mean." I continue.

"Like what you said to mom?" He asked. No. What I said to mom I meant it, but I can't tell that to my brother.

"Yes, like what I said to mom." I said.

"Can I sleep here? I don't want to sleep alone, I'm still not used to the new house." He asked.

"Of Course... Come on." I said making some space so he can cuddle.

"Thanks." He mumbles cuddling to my side. "Marie?" He asked.

"Yeah?" I say sleepy.

"I love you." He says.

"Okay." I say teasing him.

"Excuse me? We were having a cute brother sister moment and you say ok?" He says now sitting up.

"Yup.... No just kidding I love you too." I say smiling. "Let's go to sleep before mom comes in and you get yelled at too." I say yawning.

"Yeah, goodnight." He mumbles falling asleep.

"Goodnight." I say finally falling asleep.

BIT BIT BIT

I get woken up by the annoying sound of my alarm and notice that I'm late.

"J wake up, we have to go to school." I whisper.

"Shut up, I don't wanna go." He whined.

"Geez good morning too." I laugh. I get up and go to my bathroom and get ready. Once I'm ready I go to my bedroom and try to wake up Jack, but when I get there he's not there and my bed is made. This boy.....makes it hard for me to hate him when we fight.

"Breakfasts is ready!" Mom calls out from the kitchen.

I go downs stairs and sit down and eat bacon with scrambled eggs , when I see the clock right above our cheap TV signaling that I'm gonna be really late I get up and grab my keys.

"Ok I gotta go." I mumble not making eye contact with mom. I was just opening the door when mom calls me.

"Marie you're gonna have to take your brother to school today cuz I'm gonna be late for work." She says.

"Excuse me ? I'm gonna be late for school!! Why can't he go in his bike or something?" I say finally making eye contact.

"Just take him please, either way his school is near yours." She explained.

"Whatever.. Come on J." I say taking Jack's backpack.

This is after dropping Jack

Since my mom couldn't take my brother here I am, just like yesterday, late in the main entrance. I ran up the little stairs and go quickly to my locker. Do not run in the hallway says a sign across my locker but in this case I better make a run for it cuz I have Ms. Muñoz!!

Run Marie run I thought but my thoughts were interrupted when I crash into a hard chest...... And I end up on the floor with someone over me.

"Ouch!" I say.

"Shit I'm sorry I wasn't paying attention to where I was going and I'm late and new, shit I'm such an idiot." He rambled.

"No it's ok I was running and I'm late too." I say. Then there was an awkward silence. "Uhm could... You like get off me please?" I asked blushing.

"Oh yeah sorry." He says helping me stand up. Wow he has really blue eyes I thought.

"Uhm so.." I say and clear my throat. "What do you have now?" I ask to make things less awkward.

"Ms.Muñoz?" He says reading his schedule.

"Oh I have her too!!" I say. "Come on follow me." I guide him.

"Thanks." He mumbled embarrassed when he realized that he was going the wrong way.

When we get to the door the Ms. Muñoz lecture us about being late and how she's gonna let this one go and blah blah blah.

RINGGGGG

Wow was I that late? I only got two minutes of Ms. Muñoz's class..

I walk towards my locker once the teacher dismiss us.

"Marie!" I turn around to see Noah jogging once again towards me.

"Hey" I say.

"I'll pick you up at 6:00 ok?" He asked.

"Uhm no I think it's better if I meet you there..." I say.

"Why?" He asks confused.

"Because I got grounded and I'm gonna have to sneak out." I say.

"Uhhh a good girl that hasn't been caught, I like it." He says making me blush.

"Yeah I don't think so." I say remembering yesterday's argument.
