Chapter 9

"Marie we are going on in six." Jas said. Yes, I'm calling her Jas.

"I'll be out in a minute." I responded, now you may be wondering 'how da hell did she mange to get out of the house when she was grounded?' It's simple: I told mom I had a project due tomorrow and I have to go to my partner's house. And yeah I know mom is really naive.

Right now I'm at this café in a small right next to Montreal, we're gonna perform here in front of two hundred people....Facebook's words not mine. Wish me luck.

After the concert.

"Guys that was so cool!!!!" I exclaimed.

"Even though about 12 people showed up?" Brad asked chuckling.

"Yeahh!!!'' I replied.

"So someone liked this...." Kaylynn said smirking.

"That was awesome, I could feel the crowd's adrenaline and-"

"Again 12 people." Brad stated.

"C'mon Brad, let the girl have her moment." Matt said.

"So you would say you liked it?" Josh asked.

"I think I already answered this question." I said. "And if you're asking me if I'm in....... I am!!!" I added.

"Kewll!!!" Kaylynn said.

"Group hug!!!!" Riley said. After our little hug, I remembered I had to go since mom said I had to be back by midnight... Yeahh I know so cliché.

"Guys I have to go.'' I said frowning.

"I'll see at school tomorrow." Jas said

Marie's house.

"I'm home!!" I announced.

"Shut up, poophead mom is sleeping." Jack said, from the kitchen.

"Shit you scared me." I said

"So how was the concert ?" He asked taking a sip of what looks like strawberry flavored milk.

"Twelve people showed up." I said, throwing my bag on the floor.

"I would have liked to see that." He said, now taking a sit on the couch.

"Yeah we should have taped it." I said.

"No I don't think that's would've been a good idea." He said. I nodded for him to continue. "Mom can find the tape and you're screwed." He said.

"Fuck!" I mentally face palmed myself.

"What?" Jack asked.

"There was this girl who taped it." I said. "She was right infront of me." I added.

"Wow Marie I never thought you could be that stupid, pray to god she doesn't put it anywhere." He said.

Yeah, I'm screwed.

"I'm going to bed."

"Night."

"Night.

Next morning

I was awoken by my phone blowing up with notifications.

Who are this people? I thought. I ignored it and got ready for school.

The minute I Stepped foot in school everyone was staring at me, watching every move I make, like they were waiting for something to happen.

"Marie!!! Marie!!" I hear Jas call me.

"What-what's going on?" I asked desperately.

"I don't know what you're talking about, but Kaylynn wants to meet us in the music room now!!"she said taking me to the music room.

"This is such a dejavu." I said laughing.

When we get to the music room everyone's on their phones, all vibrating.

"So what's up?" I asked taking a sit next to Riley.

"Ok I have great news!!" Kaylynn said. We all nod so she continues. "There's a band that want us to be their opening act for their upcoming tour!!!!"

"Are you serious?!?!?" Brad asked.

"No." Kaylynn said seriously, creating a dead silence. "Yes you doofus! We're going on tour!!!" She exclaimed.

After cheers and happy screams and we all simmered down and Kaylynn continued. "So someone posted a video of us performing yesterday and they apparentlyliked it. They're first going to Australia and come to Canada and we'll join them for the rest of the tour." She explained.

"Wait but who's the band?" I asked.

"5 Seconds of Summer."
