"But moooooooooom." I whined.

"You asked for my permission and I'm not giving it to you." She said.

"But it's not fair ." I argued.

"What's not fair is that I have a daughter that doesn't obey, you think I don't know how that band got that video huh? C'mon Marie you can do better than that. Ask your brother to cover up for you, you're lucky I'm not in a bad mood other wise you wouldn't be able to be in this band." She rambled.

"Are you serious? You were the one who wanted me to play the bass all this time...please mom I really want to do this." I pleaded.

"What about school? You're just gonna drop out of school cause you don't need the grades?" She said.

"No. I can take online classes." I said.

"No and when I said no is no." She said seriously. "Now go to your room, dinner is gonna be ready in a bit." She added.

I walked up the stairs to find my brother in my room....again.

"What do you want now?" I asked annoyed.

"You tell me. You can do better, I thought I taught you well sis, mom is easy to persuade." He said in Vito Corleone voice.

"You do know I'm five years older than you?" I asked.

"Age is just a number, now I'll give an offer you can't refuse." He said still with his Vito voice.

"Ok first you're not old enough to watch The Godfather, how in the world do you know how he talks?" I asked.

"Again with the age." He said rolling his beautiful blue eyes. "Now back to the offer....We're gonna persuade mom in dinner." He said.

"That's the big 'offer I can't refuse '?" I asked.

"Hey I'm only thirteen!" He exclaimed making me roll my eyes.

"Kids dinner is ready!!" Mom yelled from the dinning room.

"Coming!" We said in unison.

"But wait why do you want to help me?" I asked.

"Cuz I want you're room to make a mini gym and show all the babes in school." He said making me laugh.

"Yeah....not gonna happen." I said.

"So mom you look beautiful today." Jack said.

"Thanks buddy." She said taking a bite of her meatloaf.

"The meatloaf is great!" I said.

"Thanks sweetie, it's a new recipe." She's so oblivious.

"So mom you know you get a higher chance of getting a scholarship for college if you've been to different countries?" Jack asked. How does he even know that?

"Ok!" She exclaimed.

"Ok what?" Jack and I asked in unison.

"You can go." she said. And she says she doesn't have a favorite child.....

"What? Are you serious? Thank you thank you thank you." I repeated going to my room to text the guys.
