Chapter Six

I open the door seeing Kelsey, and I can't help the jump in my heart and the sudden ache when I see her red rimmed and puffy eyes as she looks at me. I like seeing that my bare chest affects her but it was ruined when I opened my mouth. I was so enraged earlier when I heard her scream, bursting into Ethans room with him on top of her. But instead of beating him and killing him I blamed her. I called her a whore.. I dont know why I even felt mad, I was the one to reject her. She could be with anyone she wanted.

Xavier refuses to talk to me because of it. And now she's here in front of me. I send Brittney back to bed, and shut the door behind me. "What do you want Omega?" I asked. Looking down at her.

She take a deep breath. "I've only come to say this. I, Kelsey Hendricks accept your, Eli Collins rejection." She says, surprising me.

I felt hurt when she accepted it, and my chest ached more than before. I literally felt sick and ready to puke. "best return to Brittney." She says and walks away, returning to her room.

I stand there for a moment wanting to run after her, but decide to let her rest. I mind-link my best friend Alex to meet me in my study. I go back into the room to get my shirt.

"Baby, come back to bed." Brittney says, and I am suddenly filled with self disgust as I look at her laid out on my bed naked.

Regret fills me, and I know I made a huge mistake by rejecting Kelsey and sleeping with Brittney. But I can't take it back because it's already done.

"Get out." I snap.

"W-what?" She stutters, and I growl "GET. OUT!" I yell and she quickly shoots up, dresses and leaves.

I walk to my study where Alex is already waiting "what's up dude?" He asked when he sees me.

"I made a huge mistake Alex.." I start sitting down.

"Wooah what did you do?" He asks curious.

"I found my mate earlier.." I begin, only to be cut off.

"Congratulations man! Thats great!" He exclaims.

I run my hands through my hair, "I rejected her!" I ignore his shocked look and continue "and she just came and accepted it.."

"I..w...why did you reject her?" He asks cautiously.

I placed my head in my hands, "she's an Omega Alex! I'm an Alpha.."

I looked at him, hoping he would also back up my reasoning. But he was shaking his head with sad eyes.

"It doesn't matter even if she were human. She is your mate, you only get one unless the moon goddess finds you should have another and that is unlikely." He stated.

I felt my chest constrict, "I will go to her in the morning.." I whispered more to myself.

Alex yawned, and stood "seems you've figured it out so I'm going back to bed. Night." Then he left.

I say there for hours thinking of ways I could make it up to her, when somewhere in between I fell asleep. When I woke, it was due to yelling. I sat up cracking my stiff neck. I walk out of the office and into the kitchen intending to see Kelsey since I have been told rumors that she was the cook, but I didn't. I seen Brittney and Eathan there along with others but Brittney was fuming.

"That bitch, she's late" she huffed "Ethan you should go upstairs and teach her another lesson in being late!" She demanded.

I couldn't stop the growl that came at hearing them talk about my mate. Everyone froze and turned towards me, Brittney swayed her hips towards me and purred seductively.

"Alpha.." she said pressing herself against me, and I felt disgusted. I brushed her off.

"Whats going on here?" I demanded.

"That bitch Omega isn't down here cooking yet!" Brittney fussed.

I turned ignoring everyone as I went to Kelseys room, I knocked and heard nothing. Knocking again, when I didn't hear any sort of movement I walked in.

"Kelsey?" I asked as I stepped inside, but instantly noticed her room empty. I also noticed that though her room was clean it was very small, and drafty. I couldnt help but feel even more guilty. I noticed her scent was faint which meant it's been a few hours since she was in here. I was about to leave when paper on her bed caught my attention.

Quickly I walked over and snatched it up, reading it. My breathing and heart almost stopped. Xavier pushed forward and howled in sorrow.

She left! She left and it's all your fault!! You drove her away and she is now out there unprotected!  He accused and I couldn't deny that he was right.

Ill find her Xavier.. I said hoping to calm him even though I didn't feel it. I prayed she was safe.

You'll find her? That's if she isn't already dead you idiot of a fucking human! Xavier has been mad in his time, but I've never heard him this mad and never been the butt end of that anger.
