A/N: I DECIDED TO CHANGE SOME THINGS. (1/18/16)
It was summer time and my best friend Tianna was over for a visit. I had gotten a cookbook the Christmas before and finally decided to make something from it. She was sitting at the bar telling me about her new favorite band All Time Low. More specifically about Jack Barakat and how he is her spirit animal. Whatever that means.
"Jen, are you listening to me?" My head snaps up at the volume of Tianna's voice.
I sigh and put the knife I was using to chop the vegetables. "Of course, I am Tia. You were telling me about Jack." I look up at her face and instantly know that was not it. "Sorry, Tia. This story just won't leave me alone." I turned around and walked to my room to retrieve my laptop. When I returned to the kitchen, Tianna had left her seat and was now chopping the vegetables I abandoned.
"Go ahead and have a seat. I know when you're like this there is no use in fighting."
"Awww thank you best friend. I knew you loved me." I stated as I occupied the seat Tia just vacated. I sat the laptop on the bar and brought it to life. I open a new word document and began to write the first chapter.
