[marcus' pov]

I had really hoped he would've stayed in Abnegation, and as I found out from Evelyn, that was his result.

So I'm confused as to why he didn't go with what his test said. When I was his age, I took the aptitude test, got Abnegation, and chose Abnegation.

Isn't that why they have the aptitude tests?

I clear my thoughts, because I've decided that I'm not mad at him, he can make his own choices now.

I do, however, need to focus my thoughts on the situation at hand.

Nobody has moved, and we're all still trying to figure out what just happened.

Where is Jeanine?

I see Tobias turn around and then slowly realize what's happening. He doesn't look scared, which makes me proud, but I'm not sure he's knows what's going on either.

All of the sudden, I see the doors open, and a body being pushed onto the floor.  I sit up taller and strain to see who just entered.

I hear a collective gasp and I see Jeanine, slumped on the floor, cuts all over her face and arms.

As she stirs, everybody sits back down and pretends like they were never looking.

I'm not sure what happened, but I am now determined to find out if she's ok.

I get up and walk over to the place she's at on the floor, and bend down to give her a hand up.

I start to say something, but she cuts me off.

"Kill her."
