You sat, stuck in the chair, your head bowed, sobbing into your chest. Who knows when he was coming back to finish you off, or even worse, put you through more torture.

As you continued to sob, you heard the heavy metal door being slammed open at the other end of the room.

"No no no no no! Please not again! No! MIKE! MIKE!" You cried in fear, almost certain that it was the manic coming back to finish you off.

"(Y/N)! (Y/N)! Don't worry! It's me, it's Mike. It's okay, it's okay." Mike came bursting through the door, immediately coming to your side, comforting you.

"Oh god Mike! Thank god!" You didn't know why the tears wouldn't stop falling from your eyes, but you were glad Mike finally came to save you. He undid your ties, allowing you to jump into his arms. It felt good to have him to hold onto for once, even though this was purely out of the joy of him being there.

"Oh god Mike, what happened to you! Your fingers!" You gasped, looking two at the two of his fingers that were clean off.

"It's fine, I'm fine, you're not fine, he really screwed you up. Your jaw, and your neck." He gently rubbed your arm clean of the dried blood that trickled down your arm earlier today.

"So...so you saw...the video.." Your stomach dropped, as you moved your gaze to the floor, removing your hands from him and holding them together tightly. You never had to deal with any of this feeling bullshit with Mike, and now he had just seen you spill your guts because of a few fucking needles.

"Hey, (Y/N), we can talk about this later, all that matters now is that I found you, and your safe with me. Hakuna matata, right?" He smiled at you, which you couldn't help but smile back. He lifted his sleeve to reveal his tattoo, which you did the same with yours. He swung his arm around your shoulder and guided you out of that horrible room.

You walked in silence, but you knew you had to face the truth sooner or later, so why not sooner. "Mike, please just forget that video. Forgot everything I said. I know, I'm not good enough for you, and I'm just your friend, so let's not make things awkward. Things were great before this sick night, and let's just go back to that." You sighed, hating facing the truth.

"(Y/N), I'm not good enough for you. Your an amazing person, and I'm just some fuckboy that sleeps around with every girl I lay my eyes on. I don't deserve such a fun, caring person like you. And I'm such an idiot for not realizing what you've been feeling. I'm so sorry for doing all that shit with my girlfriends in front of you." He sighed, his small speech making you blush, and to be quite honest, he was the only person that could make you blush. You He just called you an amazing person, something you've never been called before.

"I'm scared of commitment, and that's why I've never asked you out. I wasn't going to just use you and leave you, if I'm going to date you, I'm going to treat you right, and that's why I've never asked, because I'm to scared. You're to good of a person to be used, and that's why I always thought that I wasn't good enough for you. I'm to scared commit to you, I'm afraid of screwing up and then you'd leave me and never talk to me again."

"Mike, I would never just leave you. I literally couldn't bring myself to it. What would I do without my best friend?" You saw a small smile sneak onto his face.

"I know I couldn't live without you. I mean I went crazy for the month that you wouldn't talk to me."

You smiled, you really didn't think that you meant that much to him. Oh, he really doesn't know how much he means to you. You could go on for hours upon hours about the memories you have together, about how his laugh always makes you laugh, about how his stupid smirk always makes your heart flutter. But telling him that can come later, what you need to do now is to make sure that manic doesn't come back.
