I don't anticipate how much I'll be away from her

There are so many meetings, appointments, calls

There are so many deals, hand shakes, negotiations

My head is filled with the words of so many numbers

I'm exhausted and fatigued when I come home

The most I can give her is a tired kiss on the cheek before rolling over and closing my eyes

I think she's becoming frustrated with my lack of presence

"When are we going to do something fun?" She asks sighing wretchedly

"This is fun," I reply half heartedly squeezing her around the waist

All I want to do is sleep and forget about today

Who knew business men could be such pricks?

She continues pestering me

"What's wrong with you? Why are you being so selfish?" I snap angrily instantly regretting the tone of my voice

"I'm bored," she explains meekly

"Then become unbored," I suggest sarcastically
