I knew I fell in love with her
That night in my car
Her favorite song came on the radio
And she sang so loud and off key
But it instantly became my favorite sound
She was laughing and smiling
I looked over at her and just smiled
I smiled at the way her hair fell on her shoulders
At the way that one piece was in front of her face
At the way her eyes lit up when her favorite line of the song was coming on
I fell in love with her
And god I hope I never fall out
I knew I fell in love with him
That night in his car
His favorite book was in the backseat
And I picked it up and turned to a random page
He asked if he could tell me about it
And when I said yes he was so happy
He told me his favorite character
And his least favorite too
I looked at him and smiled
Because I realized I fell in love with him
And God I hope I never fall out
