Moving into a new building is always difficult. But I needed to because, well, I just needed to. All the things I have to change is annoying but I'll get through it. Did you know that linen is really heavy? Shit.
"Hey man, do you need some help?" I hear someone ask. I look up and smile slightly shaking my head. "No no I'm alright thanks." I look back down to the long box on the floor, a drop of sweat falling from my hair to the box. He laughs a sweet laugh. "Okay dude, have fun with your heavy linen." He smiles, walking away. I grunt, picking the box back up. "You've got no idea."
I get to the elevator and push the floor I now live on. I get to the floor, in a daze by the time the doors open. I pick up the box once again, opting on sliding it halfway there. I get to the door and unlock it, smiling when I get the box inside. I look around and feel accomplished.
"Nice place, nice people," I mumble to myself, as I leave again, to get the rest of the boxes up here.
