{Authors POV}

"He was my first love... And still is my only love."

And that's when Jungkook turns back around and runs back to her, no longer caring about anyone or anything anymore. No longer caring if he gets in trouble with his company or with his fans.

Because, in his eyes, he always originally belonged with SoonHee..

And he should have stayed with her, even in the beginning.

"SoonHee", Jungkook yells as he runs towards her. She slowly turns her head in fear as Jungkook stops right in front of the bed. Without another word and before thoughts could even be processed, Jungkook grabs SoonHee by the arm and yanks her off the bed, pulling for her to stand up.

SoonHee can't even put her thoughts into order as Jungkook wraps his arms around her middle, hugging her closely to his chest.

"J...Jung... Jung... Jungkook", SoonHee mutters in shock, her voice and body shaking in sync. She hears a sob escape from the man that's currently hugging her and it takes some time for her to realize what is actually going on.

The one and only Jungkook, the Jungkook she knows like the back of her hand.. The Jungkook that had left her to follow his dream.. Is hugging her so tightly, sobbing into the side of her neck.

"SoonHee, baby I've missed you", Jungkook sobs into SoonHee's shirt and she stands there, unable to register that her one and only love, is here. Numerous of thoughts purge it's way through SoonHee's skull, trying to process everything that's currently happening.

But, she still can't move. She's unable to move.

As Jungkook continues to hold her close, he trails his hand up her back and curls his fingers into her short locks, crying softly as he cradles the back of her head. "You're beautiful hair.. It's gone.." Jungkook mutters shakily. He removes his arms from around her and steps away a little, taking a good look at her once innocent and pure face. "You... Changed", Jungkook mutters sadly as he places his hand on the side of SoonHee's cheek. Her lips begin to tremble slightly and she tries everything in her power to not lean into his touch. She closes her eyes shut as another tear escapes them, trying not to look into Jungkook's eyes.

"Jungkook..." She says shakily as she brings her hand to her cheek to rest on top of his. She slowly clasps her fingers around Jungkooks fingers and drops the locket she was holding, forgetting about her special necklace.

Who needs it anymore when she has the real thing now?

After some time, she finally leans into his touch. She holds onto Jungkook's soft hand and lets him caress her cheek as another tear slips down her cheek. "I've... missed you too", she finally says and she can no longer hold in her sob.

This is what she wanted. All she wanted was to feel Jungkook again. To know that he hasn't forgotten her and hasn't forgotten their memories, what they shared together. 

Jungkook sighs in relief at her words and pulls her close once again, mesmerized by her familiar scent and voice. How her actions are still the same even though she looks so different. But it doesn't matter, though. What matters is that he has his SoonHee again. That she's giving into him and crying into his shoulder, finally pulling him close. His heart feels as if it's going to burst out of his chest as he cradles the back of her head with his hand. She wraps her arms around him in return, cradling the back of his head as well with one hand while wrapped her other arm firmly around his shoulders.

"Don't forget me.. Please don't forget about us.. SoonHee, I still love you. I know we've drifted too far apart and we've both changed so much... But I'm willing to start over again. To sacrifice it all for you.. To make amends... Please, SoonHee, baby, forgive me. I know I've done so much to you.. I know I don't deserve you and you deserve someone better than me. I'm an asshole who doesn't deserve your kindness, care, and love. I'm sorry I wasn't there for your pregnancy.. I'm sorry for hurting you so much that I killed your future with our baby.. I'm sorry that you have had to change so much to get rid of the memories of us... But please don't change anymore.. Don't turn into someone I don't know.. Someone I can't recognize..." Jungkook says softly as his eyes begin to dry up, no longer crying anymore. He continues to caress the back of SoonHee's head gently, trying to calm down her harsh and erratic sobbing.

"Jungkook.. Y-You-"

"Shhh.. I know... Just cry it all out in my arms, okay? You're not alone anymore. I'm here, and this time I'm not leaving you. I will find a way for us to work.. I don't want you to worry about anything anymore, understand?" Jungkook says gently and SoonHee nods, tightening her arms around him while crying.

Her mind is having trouble believing that all of this is actually happening. That Jungkook is actually here, holding her in his arms just like this.Telling her such sweet and comforting words in her ear. 

It's a dream come true.

It's as if both of their hearts are screaming for each other, calling out their names as they hold each other tightly. Their wounds become the same as the others, forming and sealing a tight bond.

"Jungkook.. Don't leave me.. Hold me, please... Don't let me go again.." SoonHee says and Jungkook tightens his arms around her in response. 

"I won't leave you... I'll hold you as long as you want. I won't let go of what's special to me anymore" Jungkook says as he hides his face in SoonHee's hair. She sniffles and a small whimper escapes her as she holds him close, running her hands through his disheveled hair.

"Promise?" She mutters gently into his shoulder. Jungkook's heart throbs at the sound of her gentle voice and he nods.

"I promise", Jungkook says as he closes his eyes, trying to embed this memory into his long term. He always wants to remember this exact moment.

This exact moment where he finally feels her warmth, her touch, her beating heart against his.. The moment where they are finally reunited. 

But, sadly, its not all over yet.
