{SoonHee's POV}

"I'm assuming that you all know Jimin's condition?"

I notice everyone turn their heads to confirm to each other of the doctors question and they look back with numerous of nods. The doctor sighs and he pulls out the papers as he looks at the manager, directing his words to only him. He looks back down at the papers in his hands and says, "I don't think Jimin can continue with his career anymore... He has an Incomplete Cervical Spinal Cord Injury-"

"What exactly is that?? What does that even mean??" Jin asks in worry and the doctor looks up from his clipboard filled with papers.

"Incomplete Cervical Spinal Cord Injury can cause paralysis-or sometimes if you're lucky just weakness- in the arms and legs. This is located towards the upper part of the body; the head, neck and shoulders, arms and hands, the diaphragm...", the doctor takes a deep sigh before continuing. "This injury can cause physical loss-"

"Physical loss??" Taehyung raises his eyebrow, but his expression doesn't waver away from the serious atmosphere.

"Physical loss as in loss in physical sensations- moving and etcetera. This injury can also cause respiratory problems and bowel or bladder malfunctions. Does that all make sense?" The doctor says and no one moves, too absorbed into our thoughts to say or move. We just watch him with frightened eyes and he continues anyway, nodding slowly as he flips a page on his clipboard.

"Wait, what do you mean when you said the injury was incomplete?" Namjoon asks and the doctors glances at him with intelligent eyes.

"Saying an injury is incomplete means that the spinal cord can still possibly send messages from the brain and to the other parts of the body. Sensations and other movements can still be possible. If I were to say that the injury was complete, then that would mean there is no possible sense of movement or sensation- complete paralysis. Necessarily, this doesn't mean that there are no nerves being able to send messages and what not, but it just means it can't send messages due to the injury. Are you following?" The doctor says and Namjoon watches with expert eyes as he follows and grasps onto each word; completely understanding the doctors words.

"So basically, you're saying that it's still possible for Jimin being able to move again", Namjoon questions and the doctor hesitates.

"I cannot guarantee anything for certain... There are levels of an injury-"

"What level is he?" Hoseok interrupts in a sad and monotone voice, a little afraid to hear how bad his situation truly is.

"There are 8 levels of injury. C1-C4 are the most severe while C5-C8 are do-able. Jimin's level of injury, luckily, is  C8."

"So what does that exactly mean?" Yoongi finally speaks up, his voice showing hints of irritation.

"A C8 injury means that he can control his hand movements, sort of. He should be able to grasp and release objects, but I can't say if it'll be easy for him to do so. It depends on his nerve system. We're still currently running tests... But, with some time and physical therapy, he should be able to do most activities. There are some difficult tasks that he might need help with, but then again we aren't completely sure how his condition is. We've put a brace on him because of mandatory procedures and such, but like I've said the most he can do right now is probably move his hands. Maybe not, though, since his nerves are probably still shocked and buzzed. Anyway, I hoped I helped explain things a little bit for you all-" the doctor is interrupted when his pager calls in, signaling for his leave. He gives us a reassuring smile to somehow ease our hearts as he listens to the nurse on the pager talk robotically. With a polite wave, he turns and leaves the group in wandering silence for about a minute.
