Forget Him (Part 2) [JK]

{Author's POV}

"So, you're the guy that has caused her to drink herself drunk and cry herself to sleep?"

At those words, Jungkook slowly lets go of SoonHee and looks at JongJin, who's nonchlanlty leaning against the wall with arms crossed over each other. JongJin forms a small, devious smile and he chuckles softly, watching Jungkook's eyes turn into guilt and anger.

"Ah, I see. So you are the one that has done this to SoonHee. Such a shame, really. All she's ever done was love you, and you leave her, breaking her to pieces", JongJin says, teasing Jungkook.

He's just trying to get Jungkook to feel bad for what he's done, that's all. But, Jungkook already is feeling awful for what he's done.

JongJin takes a couple of steps away from the wall and walks towards Jungkook with a serious expression. He stops right in front of him, and places a hand on his shoulder. "Promise not to leave her again?" JongJin asks softly and Jungkook nods slowly, warily looking at him from head to toe.

"I promise."

"Well, I sure as hell have heard enough mushy crap", the voice says in an awkward tone. Everyone's heads spin towards the figure standing beneath the door frame and a loud joyful shriek escapes SoonHee, who has already turned away from Jungkook.

"Jimin!!!" She yells and runs to him, slamming into his body with full force while wrapping her arms around his middle. The scent of her best friend wafts and circles around her, creating a feeling of nostalgia. A low chuckle escapes him as he pats SoonHee's head in response.

He missed her hugs, and how she quickly responded to his presence... But, there's something different about this hug.

Her arms feel skinnier and the hug feels sort of weak. You can tell though, that she's trying her best to hug him, but it's actually not at all tight. These thoughts swarm Jimin and make him kind of sad- upset. He feels that SoonHee was starting to lose herself in this world, losing her sanity and what once was her sweet smiles and ringing laughter.

Jimin gives her his best smile as she lets go of the hug while she tries her best to hold in her tears. She takes a step back and looks at both Jimin and Jungkook with sad but happy eyes.

"You guys look different", SoonHee says and the two she is referring to look at each other. They laugh nervously while rubbing the back of their necks.

"Is that a good thing?" Jungkook asks and SoonHee smiles.

"Duh! Different as in you guys look hotter", SoonHee jokes and smiles are shared throughout the room. Both Jungkook and Jimin's smile, though, change into a small frown as they watch SoonHee, who has in fact changed.

Physically... Emotionally...

Currently, she seems to be returning to her normal self. But... Still..

She still possesses the other SoonHee...

The shattered... Broken.. Torn-

"My poor little sister!" Jimin pouts as he puts his arm around SoonHee's shoulder, messing up her slightly disheveled short hair. She grimaces and tries to remove his hand from her hair, wanting to get rid of his hands from her locks before he tangles it up even more. "Yah! That hurts you little ass", SoonHee yells and everyone laughs in response, watching her form twist and turn to get away from the devilish Jimin.

"Awww~ so cute!" Jungkook yells and he runs over pinching SoonHee's cheeks as Jimin continues to mess up SoonHee's hair. Eventually, she sighs, giving up, because knowing them, their stupidity can continue on for hours at a time.
