Beautiful eyes shattered by reflection
Afraid to see another rejection
He is a puppet of someone's words
Controlled by strings, even his world.

Lips of an angel spoke only of peace
In contradiction of what he sees
Forced to be perfect, strong and brave
To be loved and respected is what he crave.

His life was walls made with woods and sticks
Easily blown, easily fixed
Timorous actions, abundant in supply
In fear of revealing his suppressed lie.

Caged Heart, sings to pray
To be freed from the shades of grey
A little bird, bright in color
Caged and leashed in the collar.

Caged heart, seized to fly
Doesn't want to fall down and cry
Fear engulfs his body and mind
He doesn't know when to stop his hide.
